I ordered mine a couple days ago, actually anticipating how decent this WMO clone will be and if it will bring a resurgence of old school WMO memes on this page.
thanks to logitech with its $150 gpw. Pro players using it, so everyone buying it. And rest of the companies can easily compete, pricing their mices for around $100. Most of the people does't know anything about sensor's and mcu's, so you often can see a mouse with budget sensor priced like it's super-extra-premium-mega-delux-special edition one.
This thing is wireless, with RGB and from a company that probably considers itself somewhat upmarket and premium. You could find other mice around $30 to $50 that probably perform just as well. The wired version of this is same mouse is $60 (still pricey imo)
WMO is a good mouse but it does show its age. Problem being the low 400 DPI and low 125Hz refresh rate. The higher sensitivity player you are the more this mouse starts to fail you (skipping). Ultra low sensitivity players probably dont notice this problem because they are not hiting the limits so there is no problem there for them.
The low end logitech gaming mice and similar things are a step up from WMO simply because you get native 1000Hz refresh and much higher DPI if you want it. You can often find cheap logitechs that are EOL and at heavy discount in random department stores for like $30-$40 and they work pretty good. Pay a little more if you want a better sensor but you should come out well under $100.
