Didn't realize the team overlay was part of the in-game options so I solved that problem but I am still wondering on how to go about the TDM specific score positions

There's nothing specific to TDM in ui/menudef.h (it doesn't have any gametype specific things like flag possession or players left), in fact I believe you don't even need CG_SHOW_ANYTEAMGAME when using CG_SHOW_IF_RED/BLUE_IS_FIRST_PLACE.

And since ownerdrawflags can only be ORed, I don't think there's a way to have the scores in different places between team modes. Also there's many other modes missing.

I made a customhud through https://holysh1t.net/visualhud/

Did the widescreen fix etc but my whole hud simply disappears and in the console it gives an error about line 520.. any ideas?

Hadn’t played QL since shortly after they moved to Steam so it’s been a while.

Was the widescreen fix the one you do within your .menu hud file, and did the error happen after you did it?

If you can upload the .menu file from your hud somewhere I can take a look at it.

I tried it without the fix and it didn’t show. Then I tried the fix in the .menu file and it still didnt show. Had the line 520 error from the beginning.

if you have discord you can dm me and upload the files there (same name as on here). I won't know what the error is unless I see the contents of the file, the fact that it was showing the error without any modifications is odd though.

Im assuming you have both the .cfg and .menu file in your baseq3/ui folder?
