EDIT: Okay, played it 20 minutes, it is not an Arena FPS, Movement is not important in this game, rockets are slow, only 2 weapons, many Quakers won't like it ... except if they are into Overwatch maybe

They should at least remove the reload, so it would feel more Quake'ish.

They banned me for bantering with an Estonian friend (he pretended to be Azerbaijani, I pretended to be Armenian in the midst of a Diabotical "CA" XvX team game... in that year's august on release), with no way to question or challenge that assinine ban or to explain myself.

I hope this game does well and wish the best for the developers (for example, 2gd, he seems like a decent man even though I do not personally know him) but I shall just shrug about it when it doesn't...

Too soon. You must ensure the bodies are all cold before you can start joking about it in public. Don't know who came up with these rules, it sucks, but we shouldn't question the wise Ayatollah.

as a longtime quaker, the game felt very different and i had to switch from thinking this is quake and then i slowly understood the dynamics and i liked it, its fun and more casual, but you can try hard AF and when you time your abilities, especially movement abilities, then you can two shoot people, do air rockets, which feel rewarding and all the sha-bang, except defrag all over the map. Regarding movement, at first it felt really slow, but then they revamp the crouch-sliding method, which transfers momentum, but you are speed capped. For those who played overwatch its like the revolver guy slide but smother.

The engine is smooth AF, kudos to the team for that. Also aim and hit is bang on.

Interesting mod, watched YT gameplay reviews, its more like quake live fortress but not yet flags, only wipeout, early access, or its like ow for those boomers who dont like zoomer shooter like ow and apex.

Anyway nice to see new school stuff for oldschollers.

Add in the fact they are refunding games these days and it looks mega hard for indies or small Devs to get anywhere, despite a load of work and salaries behind the team, or a lot of disappointed people expecting equity or royalties as well as doing a load of unappreciated work which can't be good for future morale.

Can't help thinking builders, mechanics & plumbers had it right all along!!!!
