Hell, I think it was a nice bunch of demos.

Fun to seee someone do some innovative moves now and then and actually perform some really cool frags like zulg do here.

Compressed was fun to watch, too bad it slipped in the end there tough :)

I really like zulg style but if he starts bad, it's not really easy for him as he is more about control than all-around attack, anyway was a nice game.

I think zulg sucks. His style is obsolete and if he ever wants to achieve anything again he should definitely lower his sensitivity A LOT.

I think he could do that with ease - Depends if he wants to, I have no idea....

It may be that the playstyle he has is less effective in todays low-sens hitscan battles, then it was back in the day with UT.
I am really in no position to argue with you there, but;

After checking out the various demos dribbling in from ESWC, I must say that the zulg demos have been the most entertaining, more interesting and most enjoyable to watch so far.
-With the exception of the slime throwing Gitzzz ;)

Ironic was also fun to watch indeed.

Sure, he lost in the end.
But it dosen't change the fact that the innovatove moves he does and the variable weapon use is much more entertaining, - and shows much more joy for the game btw, then watching two super-diciplined pro-guys perform a hitscan duel with 0.0001 accuracy on all powerups on all maps, no?

Imo it doesn't atleast....and I bet they both had fun while playing this match :)

Hehe, I think the main problem is that you won't ever play consistently great if you don't play loads. Everyone who wins loads of stuff is a workaholic.

So until he starts to hang in german channels blurting out loads of amsgs about wanting to play duels, I doubt he will be able to catch up and pass people. Now, I have no clue if he wants to do that or even care. Talent only get you that far.:)

well, i was admin of almost all of his games and he show intelligence in games, i didn't say he got the best skill overall.

Has always been ,was so in UT and is so in UT2.
I rather watch those demos than watching some fat demo wich makes me fall asleep,doesnt matter how effective he play its dead boring to see.

Oh and Carmack about that zulg sucks i hope you are ironic here :) ,He won fragm and could aswell has wonnen lauke also(1 frag on comp could have ended any way).And if so i think he had wonnen solo also.

Hes up there amongst all other top players in the world,,,and he satisfys the crowd :).
