I bet quite a few of you have seen some of Quake Done Quick speedrunning movies, for example Scourge done Slick. Out of the limelight there is a thriving Quake 1 speedrunning community that hangs out at
Speed Demos Archive.

To show you what the speedrunners of today are capable of, Jozsef Szalontai (one of the top speedrunners) has made a promo video with video clips from different runs and tricks made by prominent speedrunners and tricksters.

More movies will be released this fall, so this is just a teaser.

I had problems uploading the file to esreality, so the file from there might not be playable. I recommend using blueyonder for the time being.

Black2lip is going to check the file and reupload it as a zip, so soon the file will be at esrealitys ftp as well.

omg, this is one of the best game movies out there imo, even though it's not multiplayer. total mayhem 8))

atm there are like two available games which don't bore me: netquake and quakeworld :D

Takes some of the punch out of it when you've seen it all before, but one could never get tired of those speedrunning tricks.
