If you mean that everything is counterable, you're correct then.

No more in the style of play (a lot of herocraft) and tech choices. Everything is certainly not counterable although most things are now matchable like the old Beastmaster abuse.

So what's not counterable? Excuse my ignorance, I'm just a NE player.

Have you understood the distinction I'm making? A counter unit beats what it counters fairly easily. WC3 isn't really a game of counters because I can know from the start of the game that my human opponent is going sorc/rifle but cannot counter it, just match it.

There are a few things that seem unmatchable too without doing the same: orc-orc is all about kodo/catas/towering peons for example.

There are some really good examples of why you're terribly wrong. MYM]Bjarke vs SK.Todd (hu vs hu) and Ghostridah vs that L-clan orc dude that uses blademaster at first in every game. Although I do agree that human seems to do spellcasters almost everytime. But that doesn't mean it isn't counterable.. look for the games I mentioned, they're from some tournament I believe. If you cant find them, I should have them somewhere.

nothing in the game is so vastly overpowered. ofcourse there are times when someone plays a certain way, ie teching straight off without tier 1 units and getting spell caster quick, when they deserve to not be countered. i believe these situations make up 90% of all balance whine.

indeed, and fairy can be countered just aswell too.

1.05 was very balanced... Mass dryads, aow abuse, Demon Hunter with 6 potions -_-

just watched this replay, and i love the way so far nowhere in the comments does it mention that good old AoW abuse is back! hehehe this will be rofl if it brakes out as a viable strat again :D

AoW reduced to 1hp (DAMN U PEOPLE!)

I thought that's what I was saying? :P Yes I think you'll see rooted and uprooted AOWs used more, I doubt they'll be anything like as abusive but you never know, the new cheap medium armoured towers are far more abusive than the old fortified armour ones.

i agree with what u said tho, a 1000hp 7armour unit for no food and that regens so easily on trees, its like a cheap tier 1 MG. or even *shudder* imagine MG's mixed in with them for taunt abuse. even things like griffons chims and stuff wont be so effective, because the AoW is so bit the splash wont hit any archers. this could get ugly ;D

my hope for patch 1.15: Ud is removed from the game
game would be balanced then. Demolishers less damage,slow less duration just like faerie fire
