Shub has been playing ra3 for quite some time now.. it's possible that he quit after the latest version, but he was quite often online before that release. he's good, but far from playing professional afaik. so there. :p

this is the most utter bs demo ever, i fail to see the similarities between this demo and the old one's. His "weapon usage" is pretty much the same, but his movement isn't, from what i can see.

And item control? This wasn't anything like the ztn demo previously released on esr.

There's also something with his "mouse movements" that isn't really laker's style either, not to mention his shaft.

It isn't really hard to get a friend to join under the nick All*Blue and say hi oskar either...

that 1 was Lakerman for sure ! I can easely recognise he's very specific RJ to RA.. there isn't many players who has that RJ stile.. [actually I never saw any player doing that specific RJ to RA]

I spoke to LakermaN (yes, the real one) @ irc like 5-6 months ago or smthn, and we talked quite a bit. He then added me to icq and sent me an album with a group (or rather a solo-project) called 'Paus'. We discussed the songs and so on.

When on the server, I asked him "name a few Paus songs", and he said "I don't know any Paus songs".

Then I asked "have you ever had any Paus songs?"
And he said "No" and then "I don't recognise your nick"

If he wasn't lying, he really should remember sending me those songs, and remembered my nick. Or At Least remember ONE title of a song with that group.

The LakermaN i used to chat with was friendly, and didn't write in the way this guy did.

well, i fail to see why the similarities in aim and movements should prove that this is lakerman. when i lay off q3 for like 2 months, my movement is pretty fucked up. lakerman has been inactive for quite some time now.

don't get me wrong, would be fun if he was back. i just seriously doubt it.

Well, I don't want to slap you now, but lakerman was maybe 100 times better then you, he will not lose his skills. And the movement IS a bit rusty in this demo, he is kind of slow...

If this demo is a fake, it's made by the best copycat in the world.

hey, np. i know that he was 100 times better, and i'm not saying that i'm better than him now, absolutely not. but if you stop playing for 2 years, you lose skill. people just don't practice for the one reason to get better, they also practice for not getting worse.

I totally agree, I allways play horrible after a longer break. But I think the better you are the faster you find back into the game, that might be the case here.

This did not feel quite like what I've seen of Laker. Even with a sensitivity change.

Dunno if this is fake or not, but I wasn't very impressed aimwise. Maybe his item timing and tactics were good, but I've seen lots of better demos the last 6 months.
