i don't like it. despite there are many great frags, most time its basic stuff. there is no ingamesound. the quality isn't good (why only 60mb? to huge for modem/isdn ; to 'small' for dsl). most effects doesnt fit. same with the linkin park soundtrack.

didn't like it, no sounds and no bright skins = couldn't tell what was going on :/
the effects were confusing too, frags were nice but without context.. 3 from me

the frags werent even that good for the most part, they couldnt have gone through many demos to fill that 3 minutes because im sure i have seen so much better stuff from cooller than the frags that filled over half of it.

i wont go into the music cos its really not in my taste but i realise that for some reason nearly everyone who makes a movie nowadays has to have something like that in it. ill just say i hated it.

overall effects were alright, nothing special, the only bit that really annoyed me was the moving squares of screen bit.

id give it a 5 and i think im being generous.

Even though I agree with your post, keep in mind that adding in-game sound more than doubles the time invested in the movie.

I don't know how demoplayback works in Q3, but I was working on a UT movie with sound and if there's something you wanna see in the last minute, you have to wait 19 minutes (twice if sound is included). Synchronising & compressing takes a lot of time as well... so all in all it's really time consuming to add it.

there is timescale in q3 thank god, and really yes it is twice the effort to put sound in but when it makes it sound so much more atmospheric and proffesional its not that much bother.

if you were using movieunreal you could play it at low fps and ffwd at about 10x speed...

WIth this movie i hardly get the feeling they did anything else then recording pieces of demos and put them together with a nu-metal sound underneath it

I'm not defending this movie, I'm just trying to point out that it's not 'lazy' to leave sound out of it. And from what I'm hearing, not even ingame sound could have made this movie into a good one ;p

well you obviously didnt watch the games that well then coz i have seen on many occasions cooller getting the only positive net on his team, keeping his team in it all with a rubbish ping.

you sir are a bloody idiot, the only reason cooller ever got owned in tdm is because of the rest of his team (and that is mainly down to ping). go look at some eurocup results and you will see that even the rest of his team have very bad net he still finishs over +10 lots of the time.

The bar for fragmovies has been set by Annihilation, at least from the technical point of view.

I still think revolution is probably the best gaming movie ive ever seen.

I meant the typical fragmovie editing, sync and the use of effects that do distract from the content of the movie.

I too give this movie a 3. After watching the trailer I expected somthing special but this looks like any other frag movie out there..

The choice of music was a bad one. Even if you do not consider Linkin Park already boring, that same song was used in a hundred movies.

The effects used were more like "hey, look what we can do in a movie" rather than to highlight the content of the video. Times when a movie like this could impress anyone are long gone. The only thing that saves this production is Cooller.

Reading what people say about the frags in the movie makes it seem like u mean that the movie is saved just because cooller is in it ;)

Just a bit of a letdown really. A frag movie for cooller had so much potential but this was just a pretty poor offering tbh.

One of the worst q3 movies ever. Completely random cooller frags would have been more entertaining than the frags you get to see in this movie.

The editing is ok, but next time the movie maker should really watch other frag movies first and get some sort of an idea how to make this.

I didn't like it, i'm not a Quake player but only one of those shots impressed me... considering his level of play you'd expect better surely :)

And the editing! Oh dear, it was a case of "look at me i can make a movie and make it do this, and this, and this!!" It was pooor and misplaced.

I'm sure all you cooller fanboys will flame me for slagging it off but i don't care because my opinion is as valid as everyone elses. :)

The movie was okay IMO. Some nice frags, and some amazing ones. I dont know what you guys are whining about the quality though, it was okayish on my computer, some of you guys seem to be blind.
I'd preferre ingame sounds, but you see whats happening anyways, a blind man wouldn't miss it.

most of cooller's play is a lot more impressive in the context of an intense 15 minute duel, series or even tournament. I don't think he's the sort of player than lends himself well to spectacular frag movies in the way Lexer did. That said, he's made more than enough nice frags to make a better movie than this. Pretty mediocre stuff - 5.

Few movies beat some toxic or fox demos imo. Each demo of them, would usually make at least decent frag movie.

Much worse than I expected. No effort at all in making this movie. No editing or slow motion or effects. Pretty bad image quality. Too short. Mostly mediocre frags.

Overall a pretty embarrassing movie to represent a great player like Cooller.

I dunno why people are judging this so harshly, it wasn't anywhere near as bad as many are suggesting. With regard to the effects, i'd say the majority of vids are far worse offenders, especially by obscuring top-notch frags with some pointless effect over and over again so that by the end of the film you feel like you've only seen 2 kills. At least this one saved most of the effects for the transition between frags, while keeping everything else pretty clear of extraneous screen-flashing shite. It certainly wasn't a film to do a player like cooller justice but it was by no means awful either.

you forgot to mention the slightly vital fact that it has linkin recreation ground as the sound track... anyway, sit-ting ontop of the world is out tonight i hope, so no worries.

Nice frags, poor movie

despite having one of my favourite songs on the movie, it was kind of a let down. An awful lot of 'basic' frags in there, some excellent ones too but just not enuff to make the movie worthwhile.

Top players should be more carefull of releases of fragmovies with their name on it. I mean, theres alot of dull movies with great players in them. Example: potti: the movie.

It was a bit hard to follow the action when the opponents weren't as visible as one would wish.

Weird effects, non of which increased the quality of the movie (quite the opposite infact).

As most people already mentioned, there are way better frags out there than most of those in the movie.

It's just not worth the download... I'll give it a 2.
