Equality in my eyes, is when someone, whatever race or sex they are, have the full right of chosing whatever "path" they want to go.

The equality problems that we have today have their roots in values and ideals that are hundreds, even thousands of years old.
Saying that women can never be the same as men is stating the obvious.
But they shouldn't be stopped in doing something just because they're women. Goes the other way around too.
A lot more women would join the army if it was just as socially accepted as it is for men.

I don't know whether females can be physically or mentally equal to males (equal as in the same, and not as in better or worse), but if they can be, I do not foresee this happening anytime soon.

As far as having equal rights go, I believe everyone's perception is distorted by the notion of classical government or hierarchical rule.

No government should have the ability to grant, revoke, or modify rights to any party of different race, age, sex, mental state, physical state, or anything else.
They should not have the right to even deal with issues such as rights. Rights are not some sort of award you get for rolling a lucky pair of dice.

Every human should have all rights, automatically and universally.

Whether or not a woman will be dominant in a relationship is an entirely different matter than government discrimination and enslavement or tyranny.

In most cases, they should not be. This is just because that is the way things go.
In some cases, they will be. That's up to you and yours.

Actually no, biologically it would make sense for woman to survive instead of men. The human race would survive even without a single walking man whereas if something killed all women we'd be fucked.

I do however completely agree that the modern interpretation of 'equal rights' a lot of woman have is flawed at best.

But it all comes down to upbringing really. A lot of young woman these days are 'brainwashed' to be as manly as possible starting from a very young age. Work hard in school, get a job and who knows what.

While i do not really discourage this notion in itself, it is evidently the wrong choice in some aspects. Woman are nurturing beings by nature and this is precisely why men are so attracted to woman.
Take away that aspect and woman become so much more unattractive to us. It's not hard to see where this is going in the long run.

Also while i'm sure some woman are perfectly happy leading a more' manly lifestyle' (full time job etc) i'm also quite sure lots of young women are feeling pretty damn miserable about being pushed into this. the way i see this: a job position opens up for whoever fits, equal pay, equal opportunities to work should be applied to anyone who suits the job, be it a man or a women. Gender doesnt make a difference in most job fields; but occupations such as soldiers are one of the jobs where gender does make a difference, if you drag women to the front then your country will probably lose the war, many women went to factories fueling war machines for their countries during both world wars, you can say it's because there werent enough men for it but to me it shows that, given the opportunites, women can do just as well as men even if it's labor-oriented jobs. how can you say, just because men are more suited to be soldiers and some other fields where people in general dont want to be a part of, they should get higher pay and better opportunities in just about everywhere else (and that did happen, some still exist today, e.g. in 1920s, women were FORCED to give up their jobs as teachers when they get married, passing it to other men to support their families, the cause has nothing to do with the woman's ability to work as a teacher) as for the Titanic thing, it seems very stupid to me, not sure if that still is the rule today, if it still is that way then I think there is a good reason to revise it.

If you didnt already realise women DID manage to get laws changed to women were able to enlist.. and there would of been just as many female volunteers in ww2 as there is today.. thats hardly ANY.

Think about it; advantages like greater strength, speed, agility, and general combat abiliites are great in the wild, but almost worthless in civilized society.
