Are you sure about it? There is not where it says that in the cover. Anyways, it's not entirely the same lyrics. But Cash's version is better IMO.

i like NIN better because it creates a more tense atmosphere (for me)
Hurt was released on the "the downward spiral" CD, which was released in 1994. besides it's one of the most important albums of the 90's (not just for me)
Cash's version was released in 2003.

I have the NIN album. But the fact that they released it before Johnny Cash doesn't mean that it's their original.. Others could have written it. I'm not saying I don't believe you, just wasn't sure.

I like the Cash version better, but both are good. It's Cash's voice that does it for me :)

well look it up, it says "writings by trent reznor" and under the song it says "production and arrangement trent reznor"

I have seen that, but the lyrics in the NIN version and the Johnny Cash version isn't entirely the same, so it could have been a rewrite of some kind :)

Yeah. That and some other small stuff. But it's Cash's voice that makes it better =)

Hm ok. Not the biggest Slayer fan actually. I've only listened to the albums Divine Intervention and Undisputed Attitude. Liked the latter the best. Kind of a punk sound to it :) And Disorder by Slayer and Ice-T on the Judgment Night soundtrack is awsome ;)

Pretty nice for a RA3 movie :) One of the best RA3 movie I've seen. Not a fan of RA3 though. Would have liked a bit more volume on the ingame sounds and a bit lower volume on the music. Really nice the frags where he first fires one rocket and hits two guys, then fires another and hits them again and frags both ;)

German version IMO... don't understand a word of it but it feels funkier. Plus Nena's voice is hella sexy and hearing people speak German gives me fond memories of playing Enemy Territory and calling for a medic.
