goodo, it was broken down into too many sections i think which killed the pace a little (i wont comment on the trickjumping bit). other than that very nice.

what's up with this ut thingie? all demos i have ever seen feel really choppy. so does this moovie. with q3 i have never expirienced anything like this... moovie itself is a nice one and i liked it alot but this choppiness just feels wierd

yeah, the choppiness is the worst thing. the movie itself is nice, just gets a bit boring after a while.
same frags over and over again, and the FX added make some frags difficult to see.
i'd give it an 8.

That's due to the crappy demo engine :(

I've finally had time to check the movie and I must say it ain't as choppy as I've expected. Only some small parts where it seemed like a failure in the demo.

The fast turns that look like "0-frame" moves are due to the way the movement is in UT.
They are produced by fast players, not by failures in the demo. :E

Nevertheless, there are in general some probs with demos in UT. :(

Dunno if they're caused by the anticheat, it's possible tho. :/

It's probably the cheat protection. It makes all the demo look very choppy.

I really like the frags, they show the new-style UT, just like powah2 :D I also really liked your way of timing the frags to the beat of the music + the use of blurring was really fitting in this movie!

Movie: Is it just me or do 99% of gaming movies either feature shitty Newmetal tards OR some kind of drum & bass like techno? Even the fde makers put korn in fde2 :(

it fits the game perfectly, the fde2 and dde2 soundtracks are great for frag movies. I personally dont listen to rock/metal as a choice, but any other music in a frag movie would just be....wrong :|

cant find it in the credits.... cant find 1/2 of the songs written in the credits... i would like to know it's name... it is the introduction to whisper of evanescence in the video... but it's not part of the song...

This is the movie with some of the best frags ever, Also editting is very nice! I liked the dnb songs very much.
Tho the movement is somewhat shocky, shockier than in my movie ( this has to do with the way how u capture it in movieunreal)

This has also to do with the way you record them ;)

netservermaxtickrate=66 do that instead of the default 22... makes your demos run as silky smooth as if you were recording a LAN demo

i can't agree with that ut>q3 in the video, at least not graphically and for this kind of movies :( , i got bored of those air rockets, combos and headshots (some are sooo fake, i think its netcode or something but..) they dont impress ppl like an air rocket or a perfect shaft frag in q3 videos

mayb for quakers its not that impressive to watch BUT!,
i can say and i play both games ut is definatly more difficult to perform nice looking frags. in q3 its actually not that hard to make a V nice looking air rocket hehe but in ut it is. or ("was" :-) )
ut has entered a new stage in existence with new kind of frags. u didnt saw these kind of frags 1/2 years ago. XSU was like the first really good 'frag'/dm vid with some nasty frags. I think 'ut-skill' takes more time to learn and develeop ;)

Nice movie, but not one of the best UT movies imo.

It gets a bit monotone with the time. Would've been better with some change in the scences after a row of frags i think.

I am very happy that there is NO rock/metal music in it, coz that would've messed the movie totally up. >:P

Some frags were taken from the movie Powah, but those which weren't are also nice ;) Well, especially for me the rocket ones ...
Music really nice, editing didn't impress me. Particularly the "fogy" vision. If no one cant see s**t, why the hell it was in a movie. I mean just more weight to a file.

Nevetheless, good job ;)

The only frag(s) that was into powah and retaliation both was by klovne, the 7 sniper shots. I didnt TOOK it from the powah movie i just got the demo like 1 year ago from the player who managed to get the frag imo ;> klovne =)

ye quite funny, i got all powah player demos before powah1 was even released yet and then they suddently decided to make their own (powah 1 ) movie fufu acer alea ;x;xx ;)
na joking hehe. i thought it was cool to use the klovne frag in the credits (you mean the frag by klovne right? ) becouse i thought this movie woud be watched by a wider and bigger puclic hehe. Not everbody has seen powah 1 vid :)
AND its just a funny and cool frag so why not :D

That frag in the air with primary rocket when 2 players jumped of deck's elevators. Hmm klovne ... beats me ;) Dunno this player.
