Got myself some new stuff today, and i'm gonna make a short review :)
Dimondback (Chameleon) by Razer:
Heard so much stuff about this mouse, how good it is, how bad it is, so I had to try.
First impression: People told me how small this mouse was, and i'm used to my Logitech mx510 which is a rather large mouse, but the diamondback was'nt that small imo, just a bit low.
It has 2 large black mouse1/2 buttons, a nice glowing red scroll, and 2 buttons on each side.
Functions: 7 programable buttons, 1600dpi...
Nice precision, VERY sensitive buttons, but the things that irritates me are the buttons on the side, first of all, they are transparent, so u dont know where they are, I actually didnt even notice button 6 & 7 until I started playing.
The second thing that irritates me are that the are placed at the middle of the mouse, this makes it really hard (atleast for me) so reach mouse4, it should have been placed where mouse5 is now.
And also, mouse6&7 are totaly useless.
Conclusion: I've heard it will take a few days to get used to this mouse, but i think only after a couple of minutes it started to feel alright, i had to lower my ingame sensitivity ALOT to get almost the same sens as I had with my old mouse (mx510).
But I think I like this mouse, just have the learn hitting mouse4/5 . Feels like its much easier to aim in close combat with this mouse, thats nice! :>
Woudlnt tell anyone not to try it, this could be something for you :)
Nostromo Speedpad n52 by Belkin:
For those of you who doesnt know what this is, it's a kind of "mini" keyboard built for gaming.
First impression: It looked really cool! :D like something the terminator would use.
Functions: There are plenty of buttons (16) and all of them work well except for the "fire button" which is a bit hard to press.
You can also program up to 104 macros on it, havent done this yet though.
Conclusion: i've played with it for like an hour now and it feels kinda nice, dont know if I would recomend it to anyone yet, I'll have to give it a few more days of testing, but it looks promising.
