It was after France did some nuclear testing. He started saying stuff like "what a great night", "what a great city", "what a great audience", and people cheered after each thing he said, then he said "what an asshole you have for a president" (or something to that effect), and people started cheering, but then it fell off cause the realized what he said ;)

Just like VIP seats at stadiums are a lot of the time at the very top, in a glass room outside of the atmosphere taking the element of live sport or whatever out of the equation. The only decent thing you get is food and comfort.
