after the great enforcing of t-mobile team and basso yesterday, i think it's possible to see today a 1 minute gap between basso and armstrong in the end of the best of the 21 stages... but with the time trial of the next week there's no chance for ivan nor for jan... only a disease can stop lance
rasmussen is out of the game... in the time trial the next week he can take at least 2 minutes from the other three...
i think in the end it will be armstrong, basso, ullrich
next year basso will pwnz them all \o/

naa... this year ivan basso had prepared the giro d'italia, and it was the best until a fisical problem in the 2° mountain stage put him out of the competition for the pink jersey (stomach problems, he could not eat so the day after he lost ~40 minutes)... the tour de france of this year is a last time replacement, to do something good this season... and a second place behind lance armstrong i think is compared to a victory for him...
also, with the great things he's doing, i think the next year he could take giro d'italia and tour de france... :)
