And hardly worth worrying about. There's nothing to stop a meteor coming at us from an oblique angle and wiping us out a week later, or a local star going supernova and making a fucking mess of the neighbourhood. When you're in a universe full of such big, volatile things like several billion fusion reactors, it's a bit like being an ant and trying to cross a main road without getting squashed :P

Fact it's not refered to on any of my Uni sites or the New Scientist network kinda points to the obvious, but the idea itself is more than laudible.

What exactly do you find plausible? Nothing in the article makes enough sence, I'm sorry. It's a load of gibberish with no coherency thanks to a complete lack of writers understanding of the terms he is using in conjunction with each other. A gas cloud? Well sure! Hawkins radiation? Why not! But Chaos Cloud? Give me a break.

Failure of an electron-positron pair at the event horizon (edge of the potential well) of a black hole is inplausible why? Distortion of the Schroedinger expression for that electron is inplausible why?

Yeah you're right, the guy has no clue about the words he's using. But the science behind it seems (and I'm no expert, I'm a third year so I'm hardly Max Planck, but still) perfectly fine presuming Hawking's is right. Which he may not be, given the retractions he's had to make in the past.

You don't understand what I'm saying. Try to understand my previous post. I will restate it anyway. Some of the scientific terms used are valid. However, those particular terms is not what the article is trying to prove and obviously since I don't argue them, I'm not saying they are implausible. I'm saying that the article isn't putting fourth any type of a coherent statement using those terms, plausibility of which we could discuss.

i've read about black holes emitting clouds of gas at enormous speeds but never chaos clouds.

It's theoretical work based around the failure of quantum physics near to points of extreme gravitiation and pressure - singularities (big bang theory ish) and other cool shit that the boffins dream up whilst getting stoned between lectures.

Tasty stuff that fucks with your brain if you're up for sommit a bit different.
