the only thing i am missing so bad is doublejump ala q2 cratejumping. can anybody bloody tell me why the hell it is not in there? it would so rock! now you have to jump 4 times to get to q2dm1 yellow and cant jump on stairs. all that would have been a pleasure by simply adding that bit of doublejump.

just use the stair/ramp nearby and u only have to jump twice :>

watch the movie and learn a-hole and no, the movement should not be changed just to make it easier to reach yellow armour on one map.

Wow, after seeing the first movies that appeared, this one really impressed me. This shows, how fast one can roam the map, when you know how to use q4 movement. Nothing of the feared "heaviness" left...

Nah, not that big :) but I doubt there will be much activity with Q3 from now on. It's sad really. If people go tired of Q4 maybe, but I don't see that happening.

if u played q2 these "tricks" would be normal for u, i understand that some "can be v nice" in q4 because of the different engine, but most of them are just typical move's(not tricks in q2) ... peace

Okay, having played q2 on the edge the other day, this video REALLY does not feel impressive :). No offense to you who made it im sure you're doing whatever is possible with the q4 engine. But looking how im used to see people trick on this map in q2, this vid really makes q4 look crippled.

I agree with you, I can't believe they made this major as those tricks... well... they arn't tricks as far as I see. =P Just regular movement. I played the damn map like 5 minutes and came up with all of those jumps. And don't get me started on the nailgunjumping, talk about useless stuff as you lose about all your armor and health going anywhere higher than two boxes with it.

Yup shame it cant be done "for free" or with minor health/armor loss as its one of the few cool new-ish things the game has to offer

I dont have the game yet, and am planning to get it. But, there is no lag in the rail is there? Also the no double jump thing sucks di3k. Also the maps feel like the walls are closing in on you, IMO. The normal q2dm1 owns. I play it all the time, but it doesnt seem too great on here. Mostly because of the physics and small spaces,IMO. Maybe I'm just too much of a Q2 freak for physics. Still, I hated Q3, and im hoping Q4 wont be a Q3 copy. If they give us a wod 6.08 hook and a ssg and cg, q2dm1,strike,and q2dm8(good copies), then I will be happy.Is the rail the SAME as Q2? Q3's was weak and SLOW. Just that Q2 seems perfect to me...
