im a chelsea fan.. and a long term one at that

been a member and going since 1990-1991 season and for the past 5-6 (possibly 7-8 canne remember) years, up to and including last season i had a season ticket..which i couldnt afford to have again for this season. damn price hikes :\

ive been a mascot (when i was alot younger :p) i own shares (all be it a few) attended the europeon games and ive been to away games both in the uk and abroad

but since ive been watching them theyve been getting better..

especially the last 8 odd years where we havnt finished outside the top 6

the russian money was indeed a big catalyst for the teams acceleration to the best team in english football (and debatably europeon) but i believe chelsea were on a natural path to the top had they continued as they were.. (yes i know if Abramovich hadnt come in we were looking at going bankrupt or smt but that would have got sorted somehow)

but for now they are just on the crest of a wave and all the "former powers" as it were are bitching and whining about chelsea instead of finding reason for themselves faultering and trying to make up ground..

for now itll go as it goes until something drastic happens
