Just jump as soon as you touch the bouncepad. It's quite tricky but you can do it 50% of the time after a while.
Also, it only works on certain bouncepads, not the vertical or more slanted ones i'm afraid.

it seems to be useful in some future map with aclinic bouncepad

thankfully you dont have those kinda pads in good duel maps. should be good for trickjumping i guess. nice strafe on edge though.

i meant jump pads which make you fly from one end of the map to the other.

Try to see the demo runig the game with Quake4, not with Q4MAX, I have an error when I try it with the game patched but with the original exe no prob ;)

Being fragged with rail when hanging in the air is all you need. First two jumps are useless, last jump can be done with good timing and it's worth practicing tho.

A friend of mine discovered this a while ago, when he showed me I created a listen server and managed to do it. But when I tried on a dedicated server, it didn't work =/
