Not sure tbh. If you leave out the 'seta' they'll revert to the the default settings next time you start Quake4.

hmmm, i dont know if its the dodgyness of the demo, but except for maybe one or two nice rails, and a fun start lighting gun raping, i thought this game was actually way below par, from what ive played, and especially seen :)

Frankly, I dont know why erazor uploaded it, its nowhere near worth watching.
Its just a display of my inexperience in q4 and thereby a lack of mapknowlegde...

ye ye we're both kinda new to the game, especially me who aint used to bunnyhopping and quake :)

i do understand you, but i think CB couldnt keep behind after CPL deciding to choose q4 as 1on1 game already.

Still, i expected a better game, and ofcourse im wrong, but looking at the game itself made me go "i wouldve done that better" (except for the fact my aim sucks ofcourse ;x and i probably wouldnt, its just my feeling)

anyway, so true, the game is still a bit too young to really have evolved :<

Lol, it's a season. Do we ask the weathergod to start winter earlier because Diesel released some damn fancy gloves already? Apart from that, it's excellent timing, Quake4 is new and hot. And apart from that, there are a lot of players who are playing some much better quake4 already.
Nevertheless I think it's good that they even give some of the bigger names of ut and other games a good chance since eventually, after a lot of practice, it still comes down who has the best aim, tactics, etc. in 1v1 mode.

I can't guarantee though that I for example will have had enough practice to have made my pick for the Eurocup worthwile, but I'll try for sure ;).

UT and Q4 aint the same game. Im curious to see how UT "names" will do in Q4.

I personally hated UT. Simple reason, the shockrifle.

Now in Q4, my Rail, rox combo's do have effect. Like they always had in Qworld, q2, and q3. These combo's felt useless in UT playing a good shockrifle player. Even if i had above 50% accuracy with the LG.

Yeah I remember us playing.
That was fun, we could play again sometime if u like.
But not right now, my logitec mouseman died, and now im trying out different mice.
So far I can say only one thing: don't buy an MS Lazer 6000.
First day I hit everything with it. And after that my aim accuracy went from like 60% to like 15% or so.
The design stinks and the material is somehow very sticky.

yeah was fun, i got a tip for you, logitech g5 + steelpad s&s. Friend of mine came over for a few days (utplayer too named terra) he brought that, never gamed so good :)

Heel raar vind ik dat, aangezien de MX518 en de G5 kwa design en materiaal exact hetzelfde zijn. Het enige verschil is de optische sensor.
De lazer kan 2000dpi, 6,4M pixel per seconde.
De MX518 kan 1600dpi, 5,8M pixel per seconde.

Het verschil is dus echt heel minimaal.
Maar let wel, een muismat doet ook veel he!

g5 heeft ook gewichtjes die je kan verwisselen :)

neok cant play from home so he barely had the chance to play the game. in fact he played only some 1on1s with fragm at a lan, where they mostly played 2on2 matches... dunno about varagh tho.
