Well I haven't watched many games (streams are uber shit for me and some demos wont work) and didn't count, but it looked like 18 out of 20 frags were done with rail or at least major damage was done with rail. Gay? :<

How do i play this? I followed the guide but it says nothing about maps, mods or whatever. I have the newest patch, (the beta), and both xbattle and q4max.

Welcome to the club. I've tried all sorts of shit, nothing works.

I solved the ...marine enemy model...prob. by downloading two files from http://www.q4max.com/ (v0.7 media and v.0.7 for windows) extract and put them in q4max folder.

I had problems when I started q4max directly, so try this way:

download q4max70, start q4, load q4max70 and playnetdemo

I had to do a complete reinstall of q4, and all the custom maps/mods before i could get demos working. Was a pain in the arse but it solved it . . .

You could also make sure you have the q4m.70 mod loaded when you try to play the demo or you'll just crash back to the q4 menu.

Im not just saying for these demos. Before i could play ANY demos that werent recorded by myself, I had to reinstall q4. Not sure why but it did solve it, and all has been fine since :)

You have to put those two pak files in q4/q4max70 folder NOT q4/q4max

I asked Santa Claus to bring Toxic a Tent and a AWP ;)
