1. i dont put ingame sounds because:
a. i dont like ingame sounds in movies, and this is _my_ movie.
b. the thing of ctf part is - all teamwork in games is like musical group playing. Every player has his part, playing on his instrument. Sometimes he's doing a solo, sometimes he's signing on back-vocal, but if he will playing in other key, all music will lost. Every ctf/tdm team playing its own music. Thats why other sounds in ctf part will be mistakenly.
Nobody gets this, but its my fault : )

1. ingame sounds are optional. leaving them out may make the combination of the movie and the background music come together in more harmony, and it wont get ruined by fucking UGH UGH UGH .. BLIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP shaftsounds. in this case, it sure did.
2. the movie is titled why promode? so obviously, what the maker is trying to tell us is to play promode. whats a good way to promote promode? by showing the differences (improvements to some) that it brings.
3. proper frags, okay. i agree they werent all that great, but i dont really think this movie was intended to be a movie that just shows the best rails and midair rockets, more of a showcase on what promode is.

and oh yeah, drop the shitty attitude for gods sake? its not like you ever made a dope fragmovie, its not that ive ever seen ANYTHING cool by you at all. all you seem to do is try to be 'smart' with your fucking wack suggestions on how to balance everything out in cpma, and make jokes about people being poor. what the fuck is wrong with people being poor? people that come from poverty actually appreciate stuff, instead of hating on everything like a rich spoiled kid with 0 real life experience such as you. heres an idea: STFU.

I have to say this is actually a pretty innovative, clever movie. The concept is fabulous but the execution was slightly weak.

There was something lacking, like frags (one rocket shots that really isn't much), and perhaps the experience. I italicized the experience because being CPMA, it's fast. It felt that one part of the game wasn't fast while the other was fast. It's weird (but then it's your job as a producer to deliver the experience).

The teamplay in CTF was a fabulous idea but it didn't execute so well. it just didn't give me that satisfaction of taking CPMA as a fast thing or a serious thing. Perhaps it's the slightly corny music towards the end of the movie that detracts from the experience. It depends on how you want others to view CPMA though - a fun thing or a serious thing? Regardless of the corny music, I actually liked them. They're different and have a lot of potential. But I don't know if CPMA is the one to use for the music.

In the beginning, it felt a little serious, but not too hardcore. But then at the end, it felt kiddy. You played around with movements so much that it seemed like there wasn't a goal in the game but to run and gun. Also, there are times when I felt that in-game sounds could have been used to deliver the experience. Also, the font you used could be an indicator that we should not take CPMA seriously. It's cartoonish and if that's what you want, then it's not a minus.

I don't mean to sound negative - I focus on the negative parts mainly because these are what improves your skill and knowledge of what to consider and do next time you make a movie. There are good parts too, of course.

I liked the music. I liked how you had fun stuff going on (gauntlet battle + hiding + ingenious tactics) but I don't know if that was staged or not. I liked the plot line (explanation of why promode) especially with telling people switching rail takes 1.25 seconds. I liked the whole concept. I liked the introduction to the nice speed jumping in the map. It was a good job. Clean and simple as well.

I give it a 7 out of 10, depending on what you wanted to show the audience. Good job!

that's the 'tag mode' xan suggested. when you get hit by pummel, you're "it" and you have to pummel other person to switch roles. considering cpm movement and maps it can be idd good fun, especially if it was done pro way - "it" has enemy model, more than 2 people on arena etc.

I loved it! And I also noticed that the frags weren't that top notch (or maybe it was the way they were shown/delivered that made them look weak) but complaining about that is stupid because this is not just a fragmovie. Instead it tries to get a point across, and it does that just great even with all the small things you could criticize. There's a great atmosphere and it comes through in a refreshing way, that's what counts imo :)

heh. at first i couldn't quite understand what was going on but slowly this video put a smile on my face. pretty creative in a comical way, that music/ctf playing bit.

Overall pretty nice movie. Intro and first music track is very nice.

Thought was garbage personally, the angles and constant flicking about made it harder to follow than a normal frag movie, and the frags were below par generally, the kinda frags you would do if u were feeling lazy and not even trying.

It was an amusing movie, I laughed a few times. The idea I personally considered fresh, although I'm quite sure it isn't that for many. The execution, however, was a bit lackluster. Neither the directing nor the technical quality were as good as I would've hoped. Music ranged from good to average. I'm giving this an 8 just for the idea.
