don't like mdma much... too buzy and fake, and I hate the come down. Most of the time I do loads of mushrooms, which I get along with very well under any circumstances (I must have a child like mind or something because I never get scared even in frightening situations.) Coke I also sometimes just.... well, its hard to stop once you start :)

I've smoke a hell of alot of weed from all over the world, its all THC. Besides, do you like to be stupid? After going through my spell I realised that there is actually no point to smoking pot at all, there is apsolutely nothing good about it.

LSD is completely healthy, the only side effect being that you may have traumatic effects while under the influence that can affect your everyday life. Set and setting.

Coke is very bad for your heart and your nerve receptors, but only when used very often, I think the smallest gap I had between nights was about a week, but average is about 2 months, it's also much cheaper in south africa.

So like... whats so dangerous about it? It's actually one of the most researched drugs there is, and there are many people that have been using the drug regularly right into old age.

I have no idea where you got your information from, but you are very wrong. And its very easy to research LSD because so many people have studied it.

Of course, anyone with mental problems should not take it, but they shouldn't take any drug, and they probably shouldn't even drink alcohol.

Millions of people tried acid, but only a small precentage of them was constantly taking "huge hits".

I see you are comparing number of deaths from acid and alcohol. LSD is not so damaging physically as is mentally, and is not so popular as other drugs. It's logical that there are fewer deaths caused by it. The main side effect is that it causes permanent personality changes. How do i know? Not only have researchers found that out ages ago, but i also have personal experience where two of my friends went trip happy, and are now different people.

You obviously have your mind set about it, and i'm not very likely to talk you out of it. So i wish the best of luck to you with it.

standard dosage during 60's and 70's was 100 to 200 micrograms, today its about 5 times less.

I also had some friends that got fucked after taking acid, although they were pretty much out of control taking every drug they could get their hands on. (mdma, coke and speed can change peoples personality in horrendous ways, more so than acid) Alot of my current friends have all taken acid and have either not changed or have changed for the better.

When you say they changed, what do you mean? Worse? Or just different?

Having sex for the first time can create a permanent personality change, as with any big life experiance ie. "life changing experiance"

About those experiments, alot of the negative ones come from testing people in a lap, where they would lock a person in a room or even CHAIN THEM TO A BED. If you've had any type of psycadelic experiance you would understand how much that can completely fuck up a person. Set and setting is very important in taking psycadelics, and if you don't pay attention to that rule well you're just being stupid, like a lot of dumb teenagers around today.

I always wait until I'm ready to try certain things, for example coke, I only tried that when I knew i would be able to do it once and not want it again after that. First time I did any hard drugs, I was 20 and it was mushrooms, because then I knew.

as far as I know, heroin is one of the few drugs that poses no real physical damage. however, it is also the most addictive drug.

Yes, I think the earning possibility is more in South Africa, however it is harder to find a good job than in europe. In south africa, if you own your own business or are in government in some way, you will earn an insane amount, otherwise, not so much :(

Yes, i have been to prague once for one week, it was awesome! But you have to put yourself in the body of a southafrican dude, who is used to warm weather, the english language etc :P so, if he was plannning to go to europe or in this case the czech rep. he would be better of picking a big city. Especially if he wants to attend univerity or something, because i doubt they offer english speaking courses everywhere! And hell yea, your language is pretty hard when not having a eastern background- concerning the pronounciation! dobre dien! xDDDD

Yea you're right I haven't thought of the language / cold weather barrier. I would expect tB0nE to choose to move into Prague if he moves into the Czech Republic, since it has the most job opportunities / highest pays. Well, as for weather, yeah, it gets pretty fucking cold here in Prague during winter, and summer is generally lousy, with temperatures not going above 30C very often :/
As for the language, uh yeah Czech is really fucking hard to learn. Well I speak it so I guess I can help tB0nE out some if he decides to move to Prague :)

I was in england for a year and it was fucking cold! But I managed :) Good clothes is what counts :) Remember that I am mostly european, only 1/8 native african, so I can adapt. I will be doing an TEFL course, which only lasts a month (teaching english as a foreign language) The only other education I have concerning was High school, where I did english and got an A.

Sry man I misunderstood your previous post - I thought you were going to be teaching TEFL for a month and then you wouldn't have any work. OK I get it now you're taking the TEFL course for a month and then you'll be off to find a job :) Cool.
Well either way from what I know there isn't massive unemployment in the Czech Republic like there is in Germany so I don't think you'll have much trouble finding a job. There's quite a few English speaking schools/universities here in Prague so there might be quite a few opportunities for the kind of job you're qualifying for (no guarantees tho!).
But either way, if you say the place you're going to should find you a job, then you're fine :) Hey I just got off one of the best q3 servers in Prague, got owned, but its 2 in the morning and ping 13 :DDDDD

Pro in what? Quake 3 or Quake 4? Because so far very few people are playing Quake 4 just in Europe in general, we need to wait until it matures. As for Quake 3, theres plenty of servers you can train on. Once you get up to speed with the Czech pros - and I know one of our best duellers (Mzik) so I can arrange a game if you'd like - then you can start training on German servers, where I still get good pings, e.g. 20-30 in Western Germany.
One thing tho - I don't know of any local tournaments, LANs or leagues coming up any time soon in Quake 3, it's pretty much dead here in CZ. A lot of people still play it tho because its fun unlike its younger brother which has yet to mature thanks to the effort of the q4w, q4max and x-battle teams - but until then, Quake 4 servers will remain quite empty. Check one of my columns about this problem.

On Progamers.cz, the Quake section is totally dead since an important admin who took care of it for 5 years stopped doing so last year in July after the PG Challenge LAN 2k5.

So much so that I can read those languages, of course, eastern european is very different, but I learnt basic bulgarian before because of a ex girl friend. Absolutely. Also, since you'll be hearing Czech all the time you'll probably learn it passively real quick.
You see, whatever country I've been in for over two years, I've always understood/spoke the local language. I find those who live like over twenty years in Prague and still dont speak jack Czech quite ignorant (I know some people like this). However, this is usually the case when they live and work in an English-speaking environment in Prague, where they can live without having to speak any czech.

Well I possibly destroyed most of the experiance by drinking too much (it was new years). Also, because of a miscommunication we only got 2 tabs between 4 people, so it was a lower dose. I would rate it at about a gram of dried mushrooms (5 grams fresh) except without the "dream" state.

There's also alot of introspectiveness involved, like just thinking about things, but in a very sober way. Most of the time I felt completely normal, unless I tried to use something or communicate outside my box. For example, about 2 hours after taking it, me and my friend were tired, so we just got in the car and drove home, completely normal, in fact it felt like the end of the night, so I dropped him off and then when I got to my house and finally my room, thats when things started getting a little weird.

I tried chatting a bit online which proved fruitless, so I went to sleep, I woke up pretty early thinking that the trip had ended, until something very strange happened and then I was like.... oh, it's still happening... Probably went on for about 10 or 11 hours.

It didn't really effect me too much at all (after effects) I felt a bit sensitive, but all in all I felt ok, almost nothing like heavy mushroom trips I've had in the past. I will probably do it again sometime, but in a different enviroment, so no alcohol, and maybe get a bunch of friends with some movies or some boardgames, seems like a good idea (scrabble or pictionary would be awesome) Start early so you don't get tired etc.

It wasn't really fun or amazing, I just felt normal and some patterns on the wall was cool. Another time may be better.

I thought so, well I will do it again soon. From my friends that have taken acid loads of times, they said it was very good acid, so I will try again in a few weeks, with a full dose and in an enviroment that accents those. I want the full experiance :)

Yeah the stores are ok, just don't use home shopping :P (Especially near the following stores: Roehampton, West bridgeford, slough)

Whats wrong with home shopping? Oh my!? where shall I start!? They're just crap! If you aren't part of the shops I just mentioned, then 90% of the time you should be ok, otherwise, you will have endless problems, and trust me, 90% is alot if you order once a week! And think of any problem you can! thats what happens!

I've actually been meaning to write a journal, but to be honest, the attraction of sharing your personal life with the rest of the world has grown dull. Pretty sick of ESR now-a-days, not sure if I'm just older or if the community has regressed into retardedness.

The journal I wanted to write about was about growing up, and what it means to be an adult. I was going to write about various stages of life and settling down, building a career and everything, which is all cool. On that note, I've been in the same job for 4 or 5 years, got engaged (to a South African, from my neighbourhood :) haven't moved around at all.

The main point of the journal was that these things do not make you an adult, it's the hardships that happen in life that does. We received terrible news that my fiance has kidney failure and that she was dying. Dealing with that is what makes you an adult. Before you ask, she is receiving excellent (public!) treatment at Groote Schuur Hospital (site of the first heart transplant) and is doing well, she's on dialysis and there were a lot of friends and family who are blood type matches, we are just waiting on the hospital to decide who and when we will do the transplant.

On a lighter note. I'm playing dota mostly now, SA quake community is basically dead, apart from fun CA's from time to time. Also wanted to do a Dota 2 review from the perspective of a Quake player, a year or so after putting some decent time into it. (Answer: pretty hard!)

Anyway life is pretty stable, we have thought about going overseas and stuff, but we want to stay close to family and friends.

ps. urgh would like to remove online posts about doing drugs from old historic posts. Not that I am against it, but it's not something I would like online. On that note, I suppose I can just remove the last line. Hmmm.
