i have been very impressed with kzymas demos and if he keeps playing, he will be one of the best if not the best. he has that quality i remember seeing when zero4 was obscure and playing in cached.net tourneys, just needs to keep practicing.

Well french DSL actually pings UK servers better than UK DSL and has done since near the end of Quake3 !!! (loads of pl sure ok kazu np!!!!)

Anyhow we (4K) are going to stage a protest by chaining ourselves to the channel tunnel entry (naked of course) but it is a bit nippy at the moment so I think we might wait till June.

We should move all the servers to Scotland or something!

Scoreboard pings haven't been very consistant/representative from quake to quake, it's quite obvious Q4 is the worst atm. These issues are convenient at times though ;)

ok so just watched em both. propa fun. 2nd map it seemed like they both really wanted to hurt eachother :)

anyway, when pros play and one has a big ping advantage and the other loses, he say, fuk u ping ect, but 99% of the time the match means nothing. and he only played on a shit server coz he was already thou and didnt care.

now if u wana win and u dont like the server, leave b4 the game starts until u get a nice one...

That's true only for aAa (sponsors) or people who leave in Paris with a good connection, not every french sadly :/ I leave in the south @ 154meters of my dslam with 2Db and I can't ping UK or DE less than 50ms... :(

Hemo is also true when he talks about scoreboard; cg_drawping for teh win :)

i live in a quite small town in the north/east, i get 10ms to uk and germany... depends on which ISP u got. Free owns ;)
