silly cunts :( (18 comments)

it's coming up to 6:00am. I need to get a gift for the only person I buy for outside of my immediate family. said gift needs to be delivered for 8:00am. they're getting into work and then they'll be out on-site for the day.

there's a really nice wine shop 3 or 4 miles away. it's cold and icy and I'm travelling across frozen paths along fields. I can't run or see too well - but fuck it. I get there dead on 7 as they're opening. I pick a selection - while feeling smug about my efforts. I take it to the counter, the nice looking lady has a bag waiting with a welcoming smile. cash in hand ready and then: "you can't buy it before 8:00am".

seriously? what the fuck? why not tell me when I got there and started browsing? why purposefully wait 15 shitty minuets then fucking tell me? why even open and let people in at that fucking time? I had a massive urge to shit in her shop or perform a particular act with the wine bottle and mortify her for life - but I left like a coward.

cunted. :(

there was a game... (15 comments)

trying to find / remember the name of a game

this is going back a REALLY LONG TIME

most likely a DOS game

all I can remember is that you start in a set of stocks inside some sort of prison / castle and that it was a medieval themed gamed with (I think) magic and stuff

you had to break out and I have a brief memory of an animation where you're sliding down a long wall / tunnel from the first person perspective, this was at the very start

can't remember if you had to rescue the princess, or some beauty of a girl, the name esmeralda rings a bell for some reason

now I think about it, i recall a part where you have to sneak into a house that has a lot of science apparatus and the game was over if you got caught by a patrolling guard

pretty sure it was an adventure / point and click kind of game

any ideas?

I'm lazy.

I want a laptop, willing to spend between £400 and £600. The most intensive thing it'll run is Q3 for demos when I'm bored and the odd HD movie

The thing is, I just don't get all this tech and the billion and one different processors.

ideally, I would prefer a 17" screen, but then people mention resolution and I just give in.

So, basically, what's what?

What processor? What brand of laptop? Is refurbished worth it?

http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/cur_pag...ionSection

that looks nice, but it's refurbished, so I have no idea if that's a good thing or bad. I guess it can't be too bad as there's a standard manufactures warranty, so if on the off chance it fucks up I can get it sorted.

or am I wrong?!?

argh help

p.s. also help if I think you're a cunt, for this one thread only I shall not think of you as a cunt.

ok considering placing a bet

I don't gamble, i think it's dumb but I do have the don't knock it until you've tried it mentality

so I happen to know nothing about betting

anyway using betfair.com:

Back (Bet for)
A vs B
You are betting FOR Draw to win.
your odds: 22
your stake: 10
your profit: 210

if the outcome is a draw I win?

that makes perfect sense

how about this, betfair.com again

Lay (Bet against)
A vs B
You are betting AGAINST Draw to win.
Backer's Odds: 60
Backer's Stake: 10
Liability: 590
Payout: 600

if the outcome is NOT A DRAW i win?

to me the odds are way too insane and i'm led to believe that you're backing a bet for someone else to lay against, or is it really if it's not a draw i win at 60/1 but if it is a draw i'm fucked and have to pay 60/1 ?

Oscar - Manny (79 comments)
Posted by Aaron @ 12:05 CST, 5 December 2008 - iMsg
first off, keep your MMA shit away from here go make your own bullshit thread (no MMA hate, I just think you're an utter fucking cunt).

The money grabbing fishnet clad whore that is Oscar De La Hoya (I do love him mind) is fighting the ever so awesome Manny Pacquiao tomorrow night.

Oscar has major advantages, weight, reach and height and a fuck load more experience (Manny has none) at fighting at this sort of weight. That said it's always much more of a pain trying to make the weight when coming down as apposed to coming up, even more so when you're not the most genetically blessed of athletes which De La Hoya isn't and on top of that he is past his prime a touch overrated.

Pacquiao is young, coming into his prime fought a ton of hardcore Mexicans, beat them all made an utter fool of the lightweight champ in his first lightweight match and is easily pound for pound king (any of you fat idiots thinking Calzaghe is the king then you need shooting), and beating all those Mexicans makes him hard as fucking nails.

So who is going to win? Bookies are going with De La Hoya for obvious reasons. For me it's impossible to call, if Manny can handle the weight and punching power (De La Hoya got insane left hook) then he has a huge chance of winning but that depends because if he is to win then he'll need to have maintained his speed and footwork with the huge weight increase because he not be hurting De La Hoya with power. His lightweight jump was fine, in fact that was rather insane but this is a huge jump in the world of boxing.

Watching 24/7 has shown Manny has lost little (if any) speed or power but doing that over a series of proper rounds is an entire different story. :( That said, I hope Manny fucks De La Hoya over and can really perform in this weight class because the opportunity for future fights will be off the hook.

now that I have given this some proper testing, I don't care if it's technically better and that it helps you hearing the position of sounds better, you hear a lot fucking less, that's for sure.

I really don't want to be one of the German idiots who moan about stuff being better because I do appreciate CPMA and CNQ3 (was using CPMA for VQ3 long before CPL picked it up etc. etc.) but I really don't think it's worth switching over.

I find hard to word but it seems sounds that are above/below you are dimmed really low and as en effect they don't travel through walls as much or as loud, something to that effect? maybe someone with more of an understand of the engine can enlighten me. on hub you can usually stand on a spot (arch at the bottom of RA) and hear every spawn apart from the RA one, now you can't hear the upper RL or far YA spawn, can someone else confirm?

any clued up VQ3 players (not the fucking babbling idiots with no clue) getting the same impression as me or is it just placebo?

didn't expect him to win yet I thought it would go the 12 with Mayweather winning on points

excellent hook while slipping out to the left, cocky but a great fighter none the less

Hatton - De La Hoya would be awesome and I hope it goes through

looked as if Mayweather was expecting a bad outcome, considering how he reacted upon winning; I can see him hanging his gloves now though.

Accounting/Accountants (79 comments)
Posted by Aaron @ 00:34 CDT, 12 June 2007 - iMsg
so uh yeah, might be doing something of this sort come September, although having never done business/economics/bookkeeping etc.

I have no idea why I am leaning towards this subject, truth be told, would be suited much better in ICT, or something to do with health but the former being very boring, the latter having too much stuff and they need applicants to be employed in the medical field.

um... anyone here an accountant or doing such a course? it looks as if I will be doing 'Business with Accounting' foundation degree, in which I end up with a basic accountants certificate which allows to be go to a professional body and go further

what's it like? I am not dumb by any means, although I wouldn't say I'm too solid at maths, but having downloaded some accounting books it would seem there is little more than basic mental arithmetic? advice anyone?

these are mine.. well they actually belong to my dad but they are in this house, so for e-peen sake, they're mine.

these pictures are mega huge for the site, so better off right clicking+open

This I love:

These three belong to my Sister, the Snapjaw is boring just buries in sand and well... stays there. The other two, can't remember the proper names, they rock.

This is a really werid thing, can't remember what it's called. There are actually two of them in the tank, very rapid moving things can't let them out because they are too difficult to catch. Got another two coming, I think.

and finally, the tanks they're in. My old man built both, except the fishtank the turtles are in. The big one holds the Water Dragon and Basilisk, smaller one them weird small things and I don't think I took one of the bog standard fish tank the turtles are in.

So uh yeah, that's it. anyone else got any fancy pets that aint the norm of dogs+cats ?

Last weekend 7th-9th there was a serious stabbing at the end of my street in an alleyway which is pitch black for the first 100 meters or so, then it's an open field with a park in the middle where a lot of idiots hang around.

My Old Lady rang to tell me that someone had been stabbed and that the area was all taped off, the usual bollocks. Instantly a name came to my head.

See this moron is known for assaulting people, being assaulted himself (he was stabbed short while back outside a pub in the main area of where I live) and basically is just a violent prick. Last night I actually find out (after forgetting about the whole thing) that yes it was him and there were four others, all of which I know in person and two of them I grew up in school with and used to hang around with all the time, also for a lengthy period upon leaving school.

What actually happened was, they were supposedly harassing some girl on the park, which is of no surprise to me concerning one of the group members. She rings her dad or something, he comes round with a knife, but the five of them decided to jump him, and one of them being a known nutcase (he set someones hands on fire when he was 15 or something) took the knife and repeatedly stabbed/slashed this bloke numerous times. Before all doing a runner.

It could of been worse, my sister actually had a short spell hanging around with some friends of these idiots (more twats I grew up / hung around with), even though I warned her not to. Luckily she stopped being around them after splitting up with someone. Now this is how thick they are:

One of the gang members actually gave it the big man and told my sister he was involved and who else was who in turn tells me and I check with some others and meh... it seems true.

I actually told myself they were a bunch of morons and I should stop hanging around with them (wooo anti social for a reason), thank God I did.

How times change!

Another game from the CPM Masters Cup.

This time the game is between two fellow countrymen Poland sivek and Poland ker1m. The maps played (in order) were cpm3a, cpm1a and cpm22. The first two maps are the usual run of the mil games where each player dominates there choice, and then the third is where the magic happens in a nice close game.

Yes now only 8 days until i leave this awful rain-ridden country, and the panic is setting in. More or less, i've got everything ready to go away with, bar probably the correct mental state to endure such a trip. As you'll have already noticed i'm full of shit, but i genuinely feel like i've kicked back for the last 6 months, getting material things ready but not fully appreciating the cultures i'm about to embrace in asia. So after long deliberations with my Polish travelling friend Mr. Birch, we have decided to land into Hong Kong first rather than India. The reasoning behind such thinking was, that we hadn't understood the size of India ('its the size of bloody europe you fool', i was told numerous times), our passage into China through Nepal was blocked by crazy be-heading fundementalists (pussy - i know), and well where do you start on two drunken white boys traipsing through rural china. So Hong Kong seems the best place to land into. Really looking forward to getting to Hong Kong, from what i've read and been told, it looks to be right up my alley. A massive metropolis with a right mixture of eastern and western culture, with plenty of bars, women and most importantly fantastic gambling opportunities. Then again a friend by the name of Lewis, told Mr. Birch to keep me away from Macau as its full of ho's, scoundrels and gamblers. Even in their far flung ex-colonies, you can still rely on the good old portugese to enjoy themselves. From their the plan is to head into Vietnam, do a bit of fishing on a nice beach for few weeks, then onto the angkor empire trail in Cambodia. From their go and party 'till new year in Thailand, and then travel down to Singapore and live the high life for a couple of days, hopefully ready to go back to some sanity in New Zealand. Once in New Zealand, the plan is to chill with family who emigrated there a few years ago, maybe do some work to try and get some more cash ready for the onslaught of Latin America. Aah Latin America, the place to fulfil all my dreams. Its got everything, beaches, women, music, language, natural wonders, savage history, beautiful history, women. I can't fucking wait to land into Santiago. Chile just looks the most wonderful place, and i have no doubt that i won't be disappointed. Stick with my blog, obviously i have nothing to say at the moment, thinkin i might write one tomorrow with a list of things i'm bringing with me, more as a reference, but this blog can only get better as i drink myself around the world.

In other news, Tom Cruise was recently found dead in Los Angeles, CA. Gil Grissom has been on the case and already stated that the cause of death is water to the face area, source of the weapon has been tracked to the Counter Terrorist Unit; Jack Bauer. He has yet to be arrested as he is off saving the world.

50 cent has been shot in the face for the 34th time, the shooter is believed to be non other than iTG`TosspoT. The motive is not yet clear however it is believed that fiddy had failed to pay his respects to the gangland legend.

Today is my mothers birthday. Yet again she has refused to let me buy anything worth of value. Last time I got her a jade pendant she wanted, she went up the wall about me spending money on her. What the hell :(

Second of all, she refused to let me send her on holiday next year. Anyone else would jump at the offer.

Life and its weirdness. Beyond Me.

French movie maker Tomboss has already released a ESWC 2005 movie; more of a short than a full feature but well worth the download.

The content consists of group stage one games, featuring highlights and kills from:
Russia cooller
China jibo
United States of America czm
United States of America socrates
France St_Germain
United States of America cl0ck.
Running for a short 1:43 'ESWC poules' is rendered at a rate of 45 frames per second, with a resolution of 640x480 and compressed using xvid while boasting a clear, crisp and smooth image I can only hope he plans to release more.

ESR regular jamerio took a bit of time to record some of the live TsN streams of the CPL's previous tour stop; Sweden.

There are three games in total, the first two featuring both winner and first runner-up competitors Netherlands Vo0 and United States of America fatal1ty along side a match up consisting of Canada gellehsak and Germany zyz.

And for good measure there are two interviews that have been recorded, one of which is with Vo0 after the finals and the other with fatal1ty, also of which I assume is after the finals.

You have to be registerd to download.

Edit: On the request of TSN these files have been removed from the fanatic site because of copyright reasons.

So...

Few years back some daft lad thought it would be a good idea to end his life by chucking himself off of the school bridge infront of everyone during school break. He ended his life. (It was an A road).

Note this must of been 3/4 years ago. So now, I am going for 12 stone on wednesday. My MSN name is:

"4 days to go, if I do not succeed I chuck myself off of georgie bridge"

Georgie was slang for "George Spencer" the name of the school.

Fine for a few days, but then someone called tristan_rulez@hotmail.com (please spam at will) contacts me and then whines about how it is a shame the poor lad died and asked if I thought it was a tad disrespectful. It was an indirect gag so I didn't think I was being disrespectful of the deceased, but I changed the "georgie" to "********" then back to "school".

What a moaning fucker! Soon I will change it to something very nasty.

Mardy shits.

Line One is the time
That you, you first stayed over at mine
And we drank our first bottle of wine
And we cried

Line Two we're away
And we both, we both had nowhere to stay
Well the bus-shelter's always OK
When you're young

Now you're older and I look at your face
Every wrinkle is so easy to place
And I only write them down just in case
That you die

Let's take a look at these crows feet, just look
Sitting on the prettiest eyes
Sixty 25th of Decembers
Fifty-nine 4th of Julys
Not through the age or the failure, children
Not through the hate or despise
Take a good look at these crows feet
Sitting on the prettiest eyes

Line Three I forget
But I think, I think it was our first ever bet
And the horse we backed was short of a leg
Never mind

Line Four in a park
And the things, the things that people do in the dark
I could hear the faintest beat of your heart
Then we did

Now you're older and I look at your face
Every wrinkle is so easy to place
And I only write them down just in case
You should die

Lets take a look at these crows feet, just look
Sitting on the prettiest eyes
Sixty 25th of Decembers
Fifty-nine 4th of Julys
You can't have too many good times, children
You can't have too many lines
Take a good look at these crows feet
Sitting on the prettiest eyes

Well my eyes look like a map of the town
And my teeth are either yellow or they're brown
But you'll never hear the crack of a frown
When you are here
You'll never hear the crack
Of a frown

This shit makes me laugh. No really it does. I have mentioned it a few times previously.

www.ebay.co.uk

Search for Live 8 tickets. There has been a major uproar about people selling the tickets for profit. For those of you that don't know the tickets were won via a text message competition.

People are being argumentative and crabby over the fact that others should not make profit off of the tickets and that it should go to charity.

Well guess what you whining inconsiderate fucks. You don't need a motive to give money to charity, paying for a Live 8 ticket is no different then going to a local charity foundation and donating some money. Oh what’s wrong? Getting nothing out of it? Yeah thought so; uncharitable bastards.

ps: I'm not a big charity giver anyway

McBride the moaning girl, a typical paddy. Hope he gets a reality check. About time Tyson said it's all for the money and that he hasn't got it him in anymore.

McBride? He wouldn't last two seconds vs. any other decent heavyweight in my opinion, most definitely not after tonight’s performance. £80,000? All he deserved.

Ignoring ESR Users (31 comments)
Posted by Aaron @ 09:29 CST, 8 March 2005 - iMsg
I never thought I would have to ignore an ESR user since most can be ignored by just skipping over what they wrote but that now seems tedious.

Many have agreed on IRC every that a good majority of threads are being overun by worthless arguments. Used to be able to skip over this crap but just can't do it at the moment. I don't mind people that argue with deceny and come up with valid points but even that's in question here.

Anyway, my question to you is: Even though the ignore feature is a part of this well established site, as common users should we even be put in a situation where we have to decide to ignore certain users?

Today I shaved off my mop hair, though I used shitty cheap razors and was rushing so I more or less sliced the left side of my head and behind my ear to bits :(

Took a nice knee to the top of my nose, lots of blood there but used to that crap.

Then I fell on a nail which just skimmed me and ripped a chunk of skin out of my leg, instead of implaling me. Lot's of blood!

Then I managed to bite my one of my nails until it started bleeding, some more blood!

No blood involeved here, but I was about to start brushing my teeth and coughed, the toothpaste shot to the back of my throat and started to burn like fuck. Couldn't breath and it still hurts :(

And to top all this shit off my groin muscle still hurts like fuck. I wish I was flexible again :(

What a mother fuckin day.

There is a fair bit of speculation regarding PK and its play. A friend of mine (Xhep) decided to record one of his practice duels.

The idea was just to show the "haters" what the game actually plays like online. I am myself a slight PK flamer but watching this little movie does show the potential aspects.

The video is low quality, and is just a 10min duel but with in game sound. Don't expect an Annihilation video, far from.

Don't flame me for this, I am posting this because I was asked to, this is not my video I have nothing to do with the creating of it, I am just pimping it. no h8!!
