You all know the wonderful game Return to Castle Wolfenstein and i am here to tell you there is a new tournament coming up. We have only just announced this splendid news and we already have 6 teams signed up. We are aiming for a 16 teams tournament with groupstage and double elimination play-offs. Ofcourse more teams are welcome aswell. You can find some more information on crossfire


Also we will have WarWitch cast this fantastic event with his shoutcasting companions Sabo and Nail for some exciting games to watch. You can find some of their previous broadcasts on http://www.twitch.tv/warwitchtv/.

After thrilling qualification rounds from which 8 finalists have risen the time has now come to announce CPMA_text CPM masters grand final. 8 invited players will meet 8 qualified players at 09:30 CST, 23 November 2013. Since there is 1400 bucks as price money they will have really something to fight for! We are really proud to see some top class players from across Q3 QUAKE scene and I believe that this will be the cup to remember. Known French professional player France Kevin "strenx" Baéza, competing in both qlQuake Live and Shootmania has just announced retirement from esports. Although still lacking an international major LAN victory in Quake Live, he has proven to be a vicious threat to his most notorious old rivals, such as Russia Cooller and Belarus Cypher.

Especially known for his devastating damage output with Lightning Gun, critically acclaimed heavy aim-based player and one of the remaining low sensitivity players never changed his ferocious style during his career.[*]

Always responsible for some sort of hiccups in tournaments, he was one of the main protagonist in the development of Quake Live, providing the community with laughter, jaw-dropping accuracies, streaming his games and offering coaching services. His passion for competing reflected well in numerous online tournaments where he was almost a guaranteed winner. According to the announcement, we will still be able to see him stream games.

From Monday to Saturday we have our daily FACEIT Cups, we have made some changes to the weekly cups in order to allow more time for cups to take place and to eliminate the larger team cups which have not seen alot of activity. We will be revisiting the prospect of 4v4 CTF/TDM but it will not be as often as it was in previous weeks, plus a different Premium Cup is still available every day of the week!

On Saturday we have 3 Cups with higher points prizes. We have decided to switch the Saturday Team event from 2v2 TDM to CA 2v2. These points can be exchanged for prizes, such as Razer gear in the FACEIT Shop.

Sunday will be the Road to Dreamhack Winter Cup, the winner will receive paid transportation to Dreamhack by FACEIT. Map pool will of course be the same as DHW, and commentary will be provided on FACEIT TV, with casting by ddk and dem0n.

It's a great pleasure to announce the very first in a series of showmatches, which will promote the next duel event that will take place in 2014. cluex.org/event.

We will have a fantastic opportunity to see two players that have featured heavily in UT2004 over the years, namely Austria Falcon and Portugal Hypno, who have both approved the invitation to join division zero in the main duel tournament. Both have been relatively inactive in the competitive scene from around 2006, but after a number of years in retirement they have decided to pick their weapons up once more and join the battlefield! For laughs, for competition, for prizes – regardless of their reasons, it's a pleasure to see them playing once more.

Since it is still our intention to bring variety to the pickup games, we collected a few ideas in the channel and developed them further.


We will change the system on monday, so that you have time to ask questions if something isn't clear. We will run that for a whole week. Depending on how it works out we may go back to the old system or leave it enabled.


We hope you'll enjoy this idea and we're looking forward to some decent games.
