After 4 qualifiers we had last few weeks, the big finals are here where best 4 players from each qualifier will fight for the title of the Best QL Amateur Player and some prizes on top of it.

Cup is called Quake Live: Amateur Cup and will be played Thursday 13:00 CDT, 8 July 2010. Format of the cup will be Single elimination Bo3 with finals being Bo5.

Since there has been some problems with fake-nicking in the Amateur Night #3, dazator will not be allowed to play and his spot will be given to MatoD, player who managed to be in the quarter-finals in both 3rd and 4th qualifier cups. Complete players list can be found on this link.

It will be 4th and final qualifier for sponsored Amateur Cup that will take place Thursday, 20:00 CEST, 8 July 2010.

Admins will choose who is eligible to participate, but to give you some clue which players will be allowed and which not, take a look at Zotac Hall of Fame. All players that finished in top 3 in any of these cups won`t be allowed. Of course some others might not be allowed as well if admins feel like they are not appropriate for this tourney.

Fake-nicking won`t be allowed as well and all players that shouldn't be allowed but play under the different nick will be banned from ESH if spotted.

Unfortunately there has been many bad reactions to dazator's play where he easily pwned all players in this tourney including deji in the finals with the ridiculous score difference. The rumors are that dazator could be fake-nicker but regardless of that his skill definitely preceeds anyone else's (regarding amateur or semi-pro) and as such might not eligible to play in Amateur Cup and some other player would take his spot in the finals. Demos from the finals are already uploaded.

After successful Amateur Night, ESH admins decided that for this week they`ll host another Amateur Night to give the amateurs that missed out on ONW #5 another chance to participate and to qualify for the ESH QL: Amateur Cup.
ESH QL ONW #6: Amateur Night 2 is scheduled for Thursday 13:00 CDT, 17 June 2010 with signups open.

Top 4 players from each of Amateur Night tournaments (4 of them) will qualify themselves for Amateur Cup which will be 16-players playoff bracket with prizes included (prizes will be announced in the weeks to follow).

Pro`s won`t be allowed and all players who wish to participate will have to enter their PlayerIDs before they will be allowed to participate in any of these cups.

ZOTAC Hall of Fame will be used once again to show which players are not allowed to participate, so they wouldn't bother signing up. All players that finished in top 4 in any of these cups won't be allowed. Of course some others might not be allowed as well if admins feel they are too strong for this tourney.
