It is the time to announce The Summer 2010 of the
ASUS Open Cup series. This edition will be the 30th! And that ASUS Summer Cup 2010 will take place in a completely new location, in the
Cybersport Arena of
Kiev to be exact! Another news is that the prize money amounts are increased. The tournament will again be held under the "Republic of Gamers" motto.
The final part of ASUS Summer Cup 2010 will take place in the best game center of Europe - "Kyiv Cybersport Arena", where all participants will be able to enjoy state-of-the-art game stations equipped by the products of tournament partners - ASUS and Intel corporations.
Ukraine is a visa-free country for all Europeans, so we expect many European players but also more press as visitors. So, on 28-29th of August in Kiev hundreds of best teams and players will meet to compete for 1 000 000 RUR (~$33,000) and hardware prizes provided by sponsors.
We also plan widescale qualification preliminaries over variety of places for ASUS Summer 2010. These tournaments have already became beloved for local players. The preliminary online Counter-Strike and DOTA battles are also already arranged. Stay tuned to the further announcements!
