It's saturday night in Dallas,
rapha just won the stage match against
infiplay.ru evil, and everyone is celebrating and enjoying the end of
QuakeCon 2015.
It's 3:30am and I get the chance to sit down on the interview couch, my fellow audio recorder at hand, and chat with
rapha,
cl0ck and
ZeRo4. They are the core of team
Found Em, who had gone through an incredible series of events (and lineups) leading up to this tournament.
At first I thought this would be a short interview with just
rapha touching a specific topic, but as the flood gates open wide, and more team members join the chat and add their perspective, I realize this is going to be a large piece, with many topics and side stories.
We end up staying there for more than one hour, going over the whole story of their preparation to the tournament, all the different line ups, and the behind the scene of some of the most dramatic acts.
- February: DaHanG's offer
- March: The br1ck Attempt
- April: sparks and the stream Donations
- May: whaz and BREAK's Poaching
- June: viju, Stermy, Carnage and psygib
About
sparks:
cl0ck: So I guess the moral (no pun intended) of this interview is sparks. sparks scammed everyone. He scammed twitch, he scammed everyone who donated to him. He blatantly lied, about taking donations for a flight he very well knew that he was not going to pay for. Then he tells everyone he booked one, but we know that isn't possible/doesn't make sense/is another lie. He sent a lot of mixed messages to people. People were questioning what he was going to do with his donations now that he wasn’t on our team. He re-iterated that he had booked his flight and we know for a fact that he had not. He had a wedding coming up, and we are pretty confident he used that money toward that.

About Team
BREAK:
rapha: With what BREAK did to us, how arrogant it is to say to people that you have been friends with and then do this, and then expect them to still practice with you?
This interview reports the opinion of three members of team
Found Em. I cannot prove nor disprove what they are saying. I did not investigate the truth of what they are saying, and in fact, coming to this event my understanding of the North American scene was very limited.
This interview was conducted because
Found Em wanted to go public with this information. They asked to do it on stream at the event, the production did not agree, so I proposed to run a text interview with them and post it.
Some of what they say are serious allegations, to which the receivers have replied. Make sure to read the interview, as well as the discussions below and form your opinion.
If you are interested in why this was published at all, I expressed my opinion in this
post.
