Who are you? A small presentation of yourself please.
I'm Dan 'ddk' Kapadia, a 20yr old from southern england and I've been playing quake in many forms since 2000! I've played with tdm clans like, cs, demonic core, many nations teams (lead a few too) dignitas and 4Kings(duelonly).

What made you choose these players as your team?
deus: deus because, he's probably in my eyes one of the biggest tdm talents there has ever been. I've much experience playing with him and he's a sound and experienced player, good to have on the squad as in cpm tdm the movement isn't a core fundamental to playing well. He's taken some time to learn the maps, probably not as well as possible but well enough i think.

spetz: spetz definitely has the right attitude, skill and talent to represent his nation, although many seem to hate on him for various reasons I can assure you he is as sound an individual as one may find :). His theory, teamplay and tdm awareness are all top quality as well as his aiming abilities, a great addition to the squad.

ix: ix has experience and the latent ability to be a great performer, but ofcourse he is well known for his "rage" problems which can spoil things for him too. If he is able to keep this under control in-game despite the overwhelming odds one sometimes faces when playing tdm he will be someone to watch out for!

h3i: h3i has been around for a long time, playing ra3 and 1.6 mostly as far as I can gather :). He is an intelligent guy with many prospects for improvement combined with a great attitude. Whilst not main lineup material, he is the player which can learn from the rest - benefit from our experience so to say to improve his game dramatically as I believe he can.

sd: sd, ex-nobles, I knew him from osp even, a player with a long history in quake and despite being considered old school and not as active as most - he still rapes face =). It's a no-brainer when it comes to sd, i had to pick him, he is A-grade quaker material!

jay: jay is on the list as he said he could possibly play and I put him on the list much for the same reasons as deus - what can I say about him? He's an extremely strong and intelligent player in every regard with buckets full of experience. hopefully he gets his quake up and running as he's in germany now in a new apartment.

Star player of your team?
ouch that's a hard question, I'd have to put sd and deus in contention here, but the reason i can't single them out is because we've not practiced extensively enough together. But i'm going to have to go with sd for now :-D. We'll see what happens during the cup as i can see spetz turning into a monster too given the oppertunity :)

Underdog of your team?
Spetz, definitely, as everyone always expects a lot from the household name that is deus!

Preparation before the tournament?
We've been trying to as much as possible, although the lineup is fairly inconsistent, we've seen great stuff from deus which is a good sign considering the possibilty of struggle he may have with lack of map experience/knowledge. We're working hard on the teamplay and tactics to find something that works well for us and we've performed very strongly against poland.b, probably the only team we've been practicing against lately.

Performance; what do you expect out of your team during this tournament?
As far as cpm I can't compare the performance to anything but the last nc. We have the players to be 5x greater than the last uk team which came second. But that said, many other teams are stronger as well, most notably Sweden. They have some truly scary players, the true test for us with our best team will definitely be them. To beat them we'll all need to be playing with top notch teamplay and aim to win, as i'm looking for a uk - sweden final. :)

Who will be your hardest opponents?
Sweden are by far the hardest opponent I think, except Poland A. Which if they get their act together and practise will be a very tough team to beat too.
