Introduce who you are in real life shortly.
I'm Bruno Pereira, I'm 20 years old, I go by the nick "Insan3" in videogames and I've been playing them for a couple of years. I'm currently studying programming and webdesign, and in my spare time I listen to loads of music, and play loads of games.

Describe your Quake career up to this point.
I started in AQ2 when my cousin showed me the game not too long ago (about 3/4 years ago). I played it and Q2Jump for about a year, then Quakelive came out and I started playing, very casually though. Only in late 2010 I started to play a lot more, quickly fell in love with duel, and now that's pretty much all I do.

You are one of the 32 players who got invited to Dreamhack Summer this year. First of all - are you really going? And which of the participating players do you think will be able to pull some upsets?
Yes, this time I'll definitely come! Already have everything booked, and made sure no strikes would keep me on land this time around. There are lots of players that can pull upsets, since I believe the skill level between semi-pros and pros is thinner than it has ever been before. People like p0ni, evil, pavel, weird, guard, scoot, or even twister will definitely make us hold on to our seats in excitement.

What are your goals in Quake Live?
Having fun, travelling and meeting people seems to be the best goals right now, due to the current Quakelive status. I still try hard and practice a lot, and I'll definitely try my best for this DH. Looking forward to winning it.

Describe your playstyle.
That's a pretty hard question to be honest. I just try to adapt to the opponent's gamestyle and make a good use of my aim whenever I can. I guess I'm a really bad LG whore.

Is there any quake player you look up to?
When I started playing, first two players I instantly loved were fox and stermy. Still do, <3 em.

Looking back, which things that you did helped you to improve your game the most?
I remember when I only had just started to play QL for 3 months, I had an ok aim but there was something missing. I was still getting raped by everyone in Portugal. Until eden (my QL teacher!!! :D<3) told me exactly where I had to move to in a game. He told me where to rush at, then showed me exactly how good players circled items, and dealed with delays and random traps. Learned more in those 10 mins than in any whole month practicing ever since.

You are often seen struggeling against weaker players in public games but when you play in tournaments you always seem to step it up and play close games against the best players. How can you explain such a discrepancy?
Well... when I play on public games, vs whoever it is, I rather try to practice what I believe it needs practice in my game than to play my serious A game which I already know I can do (though I should also practice it more to perfect it). So sometimes, I force myself to play on bizarre conditions. Like, if I think my damage output in fights isn't good enough most of the times, I'll play for some days without getting items, forcing myself to do crazy amounts of absurd damage in ridiculous fights just to have a chance to stay in game. If I want to practice say, my timing and positional game, I'll probably practice TDM for some days, since in there there's so many more items that you can time, and when you have any weapon, you have to make the most out of it.

Thank you for your time! If you have any final words here's your chance to state them.
Good luck to everyone attending DH and I hope to see you all there!
