First of all, congrats that you made it to ES WorldCup with your clan, how important is this event for your team ?
it is as important as any event, might be the #2nd most important event this summer when i think of it though. Since that is the first event in a chain of several others, it will be important to get a good placement so we get some real self esteam into our teamWhat are your experience with the Ligarena events ?
well, i was a competitor at lan-arena 7, and i must say, it was _THE_ worst tournament i have EVER attended, the admins was just a bunch of headless chickens running around scratching theyre asses.the place were they held the tournament was good though, only good thing i can say about it. i hope for theyre sake that they do better this time since they seem to be keen on really trying to get a professional tournament going.ESWC has the same idea as WCG, Worldwide clans, do you think it makes it more intresting ?
yes i think it makes it alot more interesting, I have never personally been to WCG but ive heard it is one hell of a show and tournament, CPL dallas is also really good, they could do a bit better when it comes to the show part, but it always runs smoothly and the admins there are great.i hope eswc can do the sameEach event you hope things work out smooth, I heard from many people that the EuroCup lan finals has always been top organisized. Could select good points from diffrent tournament that you have participated what would make together a perfect tournament (example: Athmosphere of lan-arena, the admins of cpl etc)
i would rather say the atmosphere of WCG after what i have been told, and the admins that runs CPL dallas, The eurocup is just a funcup for me :)Are you happy that you are playing Counter-strike on a top-level ?
well, i am happy that since i am playing the game that i am at a top level, but to be honest im starting to get really tired of the game, only thing that drives me is the tournaments and the possible cash prizes. as long as the ones in charge of the tournaments pays out (unlike Clikarena)No money yet from Clikarena ?
nope, noneA gamer as fatal1ty, who pracs like 8 hours a day before a tournament is normal, what is normal for you ?
i actually think he playes more, at least he did when quake3 was still a part of the CPL, normal for me is 5-6 hours before a tournamentDo you ever had the thoughts to play in a tournament where you can play individually, like a Q3, UT2k3 or wc3 tourneywell, i used to compete individually in quake2 and quake3, but i was really young back then and i had problems controlling my nerves. But I always did good in team games. but i enjoy playing in a team alot more than individual competitions, i just think it is alot more fun, its my thing i guess, i would say i am a teamplayer, and not a solo machine dude =)[/q]If it was up to the prizemoney, if duel would be more your thing, what would you prefer then, since with teamgames you are more up to your teammates and the cashprize has to be devined over 5 players: Do you still think that you would go for team compeition ?
i guess i would try to do both as far as it would be possible, but concentrate on the duel tournaments (if that had been my thing)The top of counter-strike change a lot, do you think that the reason of it is because the tactix change alot ?
I think it has alot to do with the skill level of the top teams, and the game itself, you need some or alot of luck to win a game even though you are evenly matched, also the tactics does play in alot, but i think the most important reason is that it is so tight amongst the top teamsESWC is using a diffrent tournament system then on other events; 1st round groups, 2nd round groups, then single elimination, It has been used in the Champion League for football, what do you think of the system ?
personally i think it is a good system as long as they manage to do the seeding right in the groups. i guess it will be more entertaining matches for the spectators, and personally i like the champions league system :)GoL is sponsoring you guys to each event, what is the diffrents between GameOnline and eSports united ?[q]GameOnline is a small business with private persons running it, while esports united was a "big" organization that wanted to be in on every aspect of the "pro-gaming" world. The owners of gameonline are great guys, and they do it for fun, nothing better than that :) cant thank them enough.
