Yay ! I am he first ESReality admin to have arrived in France for the Electronic Sports World Cup. People like Daishi, simonb, Aza, zr0, raccoon, sizah, Black2lip, Sujoy and many more are expected and I am sure I missed a few names to make the list full. That many ESReality people are a guarantee that there will be more pictures than last year and hopefully the quality of the coverage will too. We also plan to have more ESWC diaries like this one but written by the VIPs and not some uninteresting wannabe journalists such as Daishi.

I arrived in Paris on Saturday afternoon after an exhausting journey. I was picked up by Benny and his girlfriend and transported to their flat in Paris. After a day of video games and crying about Greece winning the Euro2004 tournament (very sad thing actually) we are now waiting for sunscorcher to come and pick us up with his car and then go to Poitiers.

This year’s ESWC, I hear, will be held in the very Futuroscope park. Last year it was held just outside it in a special congress hall. There will probably be two stages on which the matches are going to be played, one of them is outdoors (I expect it to be the place near the water park in Futuroscope). The tournaments will be located at different places so it will be extremely hard to be everywhere at the same time but fortunately, there’s lost of us ESReality people here in France!

Right now I cannot share anything interesting with you, obviously my breakfast will not be of any interest to you. I am killing time planning interviews with people for ESReality Uncut 2. SteLam and socrates have agreed to do it, I have a few people who would do it gladly as well but it’s not all set so I’ll just keep my mouth shut. As you can see, there’s not much to talk about so I will just go back to chasing some Q3 VIP to complete my Q3 tournament preview and fiddle with the big coverage article you’re reading just now.
