NE|ra and NE|dawgpound of Freshbeat Productions present our UT2004 movie!

The movie was edited and created by NE|ra. NE|dawgpound helped record and capture the frags. Most of the frags featured are from the point of view of dawgpound and ra, along with frags from NE|unity, NE|toque, and NE|ono. You'll need the newest 5.2 Divx codec to view this movie. All of the frags featured in this movie are from TDM and 1v1 matches.

The quality isn’t the best it could have been due to using Fraps for the capturing. The new command dumpframes wasn’t introduced until the movie was 95% done, so excuse the quality :D. Runtime is 7:38, and the file weighs in at 172 MB.

We hope you'll enjoy this presentation from all of us at Team No Escape and Freshbeat Productions.

It seems that two days after the official release the first DOOM 3 video is already out. The movie is basically a first look at some basic trick jumps, air rox, and general action. It was compiled by VarpoS and GoiracH, here is what they had to say;
"This is the first "Real" trick/frag movie for Doom III. It includes; Single tricks, Team Tricks, Frags (airrockets included :D) We wanted to show you how we played on LAN the first 2 days of the release, and here it is hope ya'll have fun watching it. We are not Pro editors but it's sure worth downloading..."
So take a look at one of the first multiplayer movies of DOOM 3, in the below mirrors.

I played around with a few things (not that hard...) in the menu and got it to look like this :)

I haven't played it with other people yet, but I can imagine the gameplay being pretty fast after some practice.

Rocket jumps work in MP but not in SP. The damage is MINIMAL in comparison to quake3. No plasma knockback, so no plasma climbing. Uh... well here's a movie :) (req's wmv9 codec).

Right Click > Save As

Can't wait to buy this game.. waiting till it comes in the shops :D

OdB Productions went to Los Angeles last May and made a movie about E3, for Benelux Gaming magazine PC Gameplay with loads of gaming footage and interviews with developers. That movie was released along with a DVD in the july edition.

Now, OdB has released their own version of the E3 visit, in old fashioned OdB Style.

The movie features a bum, some weird people, a Boothbabes Quiz (loads of boothbabes), the "Buy My Game" segment (developers plead to the "Average" gamer to buy their game and forget to mention what game it is), another bum, some goofing off in L.A. (including another bum) and SnoiD freestyle beatboxin' on Hollywood Boulevard.

Of all the games shown on E3, OdB concentrates on their own choice, F.E.A.R and HalfLife 2. The movie has two very long segments about both games (including a 6 minutes ingame footage of F.E.A.R) with interviews with Gabe Newell (Valve) and Chris Hewett (Monolith).

Music from the movie is from poor, unpublished artists such as Ghostriders and Illa.

At the ESWC 2004 I had the chance to meet Jonathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel. I talked with him about the past, the present and of course the future of his gaming career. Fat talks about his infamous Counter-Strike and Call of Duty career, about his favorite game of all times, about Painkiller, Doom 3 and... the Fat-Shoe!

This is my very first movie, so take it easy on me :D Tnx for uCn|PHATS, MpX|Cigam- and Shagz^ helping me upload and test the movie. It's got a few bad points: you might find it a little to dark sometimes and you sometimes have a little lag. That's stuff for the next movie. For the rest I think you will like it. I tried to make this a movie to not be forgoten fast. I hope you like it. HF.

A G4/Tech TV feature on DOOM 3, offering a history of the DOOM franchise in the words of the folks at id Software. The clip can be found on the air on The DOOM Franchise, episode 310 of a series called "Icons." The piece offers clips from DOOM 3 and other games, interview footage, analysis and more, and for those without access to the program.

Brock: UT2003 movie by GReOR-uu (12 comments)

My second UT2003 movie. This movie was first meant as a project for an education I wanted to do:
Communication & Mulitmedia Design.
In order to do so I had to show if I was worth it by making a piece of work where the subject was: You and your world. So I created a 3 minute movie about UT2003 with 'Brock' (my UT2003 caracter) as the leading part. He dances to the rhythm of the music in a room I created myself with UnrealEd. Although Brock does seem to have a good time, it is not him who selects the music which is played... The academy thought it was good work and has accepted me. (w00t!)

The second part is good old fragging. Some of the most amazing frags (biorifle anyone?) I have made with UT2003. Lots of editing, cool frags, funny features and more. Great quality ,XviD and this time with ingame sounds and realtime speed. Unzipped: 200 mb and 11.50 minutes.

I'm proud to present the first Movie from ESWC 2004. It's actually the first movie I made by myself (I got a little help with the editing though). It's only about three minutes long and it took me like hours to make it, but I hope you guys enjoy that little glimpse of the ESWC 2004.

Update: New mirror is up!

The UTCTF Spanish clan PLOF! (first spanish clan of any game to enter Clanbase Hall o Fame two years ago, after placing 3rd in the premiere division OC) have finally released their first UT Movie after some months of hard work.

The movie has a length of 13:37 minutes ;) featuring some nice flagruns and lots of frags (mostly CTF but also DM) synchronized with different sorts of music (no Linkin Park :f).

We hope u enjoy PLOF!'s tribute to Unreal :)
