`Triad-X's UT Frag Movie 2003

The project was initially started in January as I began gathering clips, but due to lack of motivation I had produced the movie piece by piece in a half-assed way. Technically, all the content was done around about June/July but didn't have an Intro or Outro. Due to the fact that this project was absorbing 20+ Gigs of Hard Drive space, I decided to quickly finish this ASAP so I could free up my hard drive...and so here it is.

All clan match demo's are archived somewhere >:/. FFA ones were deleted to save space.

The movie weights in at nearly 200mb, and is some 8mins long. DSky.kor_ is responsible for the whole editing process, and all the frags are by DSky squad members.

Liquide from Dignitas.mthN current European Champions has released a Battlefield 1942 movie containing scenes from different BF1942 Maps and some extra bits.

It weighs in at 157mb and lasts for 12 minutes.

DivX 5.1.1. is required and you can get that here

With all the fuss BF1942 has caused on the CPL Forums this may give non BF1942 players an insight into an excellent game and may explain the large popularity that this game actually has.

First off. This is a Soldier of Fortune II movie.

The action in this movie is from August 2002 with me playing with two guys that lived in the same house as me. I made the movie clips then, but never completed the movie until now. It took up 20GB (25GB completed), and I need that space for a movie I'm gonna work on during christmas holidays.

Don't be to harsh on the frag action, cause we were (are :) quite newbies, and the movie is mainly created for our selves to watch, but I put it online cause others might enjoy it as well ;) And I hope you do.

The sequel to the first video created by mrks and the 4th video featuring the Lithuanian trickjumper CeTuS was released today. This video shows off cetus and his various speed runs through some of the most visually stunning maps at breakneck speeds with various cam work and editing tricks done by mrks.

Fast paced fragmovie from top5 euro UT clan POWAH, focusing on action and great frags rather than 1337 advanced editing and effects (just to say it straight). Player POV's include among other members Klovnefisk and Acer and basically a lot of midair action on unknown and known players (not mentioning names!)

The movie runs over 9 minutes and the movie file is about 180 MB. Have fun watching!

After months of the demos collecting dust I set out this weekend to create the clan leto movie, a short and fast paced film, featuring some classy promode team deathmatch action from assorted pickups and clan matches, blended with some fruity effects and basement jaxx. It runs in at just under 4 minutes so give it a bash and tell me what you think as there may be a sequel !

The first official trickjumping movie by the clan JatS. Featuring all of the clan members performing trickjumps and teamtricks. It runs 13:18 minutes.

This movie contains my best frags from the past year, synchronized with original tunes. I stopped playing about a month ago and decided to make a vid as a reminder of the good times I had playing QIII :D

It runs for 8 minutes 44 seconds.

Note: This is not a trickjumping move, it's an educational movie!

The main intention of this film is to show how gaming could be presented as a viable spectator sport. Consider this film a pilot TV show for what we could see in the future.

This film features a match between the English FourKings CS team & the French armaTeam. The event was held from the 5th-7th of December at Landed Lan 5. Cryus Malekani (aka proZaC) was flown in by Intel to present the show.

The film features:

• A pre-match tactical analysis by 4Kings of dust2.
  
• A post-match section where Xenon explains a CT pistol round.

This morning I finally uploaded TaperBoys 2.avi, maybe some of you have already seen the first one? It's quite big contrasts between them - this is a pure quake 3 movie which shows you frags created by me (metha). Until now, I've had alot of positive responses - actually that much that it felt right to share it with other people around the world. But lets not keep up the talking, have a look for yourself!

TheBeast has released, yet once again, another superb movie but its a netquake-movie with the best possible grafical-clients that are avaible!
The sound is perfectly synchonized and well there arent a sentence that can explain this masterwork better than: the _BEST_ movie so far.

I give it 8/10 points

Finally it's done, even earlier then I had expected it to be!

The prevous movie (BW1 ofcource) featured the 2 brothers Trouby and me. This time our stephbrother Luquodis became good enough to make pretty moves too so you will enjoy his frags, believe me.

The GFX cant be better, it will ask pretty much of other fragmovie creators to overdo it similairly.
The soundtracks were picked very carefully to synchonize it perfectly with the video and to create the feeling that I intended to create at a specific moment.

There also are 2 scenes that will show the following Quake engines:
Glquake, NPRquake, Xquake, Darkplaces, Telejano, Tenebrae, Jakequake, Joequake, Cheaphack, Netchild, Tomazquake

Then we think, when will we get this dude over to QuakeWorld?

Well after a long time playing and making netquake movies I decided to join QW for moviemaking. QuakeWorld Overloaded will be our next project, which we'll make together with Jebur and Sassa. I allready have some GFX stuff laying around and Jebur has allready elected 40 outstanding demo's

Well more about the movie now..
TheBeast has always been known to be great at intros and once again the proved us with making the best damn intro I have ever seen.
With a great 3D-flight and ending it with a nice Quake-mark
They showed what Quake-clients can do and how different each client is!
All of the frags were just general QW frags but you haveto remind yourself that this is NetQuake and those frags are quite hard but yes, not that fancy at all!
The end was just fantastic and I really dont got a clue how you did that but it ws great and the music fitted in perfectly.

I'm posting this link for a q3 movie cuz I want to make a tribute to my old clan Spect and all the quakers I faced and played with over the years when I had the most fun playing q3. Now this movie is 1,5 year old but has never air public so I thought it was time, even tho it's not a high resolution movie I think you'll enjoy it anyway.
