As February is almost over, we are closing to some long expected

promode CTF tourney - DRAFT PUNK! On Saturday the 1st of March, first stage of the cup will begin - the draft! 52 players all across the small cpma world signed up so far and we hope there won't be much no shows so we can build 8 teams at least.

"Hi everybody! My name is Aleksey. Beginning with February 2013 I am sponsoring the 125 FPS QuakeLive League (http://125fps.com) and provide almost all of the prize money from my own pocket. Why do I do this? Because like many of us I played the first Quake and even Duke Nukem)) on lan during my childhood. Time goes by and Im a grown-up man now with all the obligations that come along with it. Yet still I want the Quake community to flourish and reward me and all fans of the game with great matches, tournaments, reports etc.
When there are no tournaments with prize money the interest of players and fans decreases and thats what Im trying to combat. Im sure Im not the only one. The community has a lot of adult, successful people, as well as many young people who fell in love with the game.
I want to ask the community to help build on the foundation I and the 125fps team have laid and increase the prizes in the coming leagues. Fundraising is nothing new and is employed to collect funds for all kinds of events. Im sure that many of you will be happy to chip in a sum thats admissible for yourselves and even happier to follow the tournament you yourself made a contribution to!
Below are various ways to donate money for prize funds of 125fps.com leagues.
The reputation of the 125fps leagues guarantees for a fair distribution of funds. I myself will continue to contribute about 31500p(~1000$) every month.
I propose the following prize money distribution (31500RUR + donations)

15% of the donations will go towards the organization and coverage of the league, in particular recruitment of streamers.
Additionally I suggest limiting the prize pool of every league by 3500$. If there is more than 2500$ worth of donations the surplus funds get transfered to the next league. The biggest donators will be listed below every leagues prize pool (voluntary).
The fundraising will start with the announcement of the next league."

After unfortunate death of ClanBase and lack of quality Quake Live seasonal cups at the moment, Esports Heaven is gonna start seasonal QL action very soon for action-hungry teams. Upcoming cups should be run in TDM, CTF and CA game modes. More details to follow.

Therefore, ESH is looking for skilled and dedicated QL admins willing to put time into upcoming cups. Admins needed at the moment, are specifically for CTF and CA game modes. Any applications should be sent here or by iMsg to me on this very site.

The long awaited First Person Shooter that started it all, just months after the 20th Doom Classic Anniversary, Doom 4 closed beta will be available with a pre-order of another one of

id software upcoming titles, Wolfenstein: The New Order. An action packed, visually stunning and gorey trailer was released, combined with a cheerful 1960's German tune in the background.

May 23. It will be available across multiple platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. According to Matt Grandstaff, Global Community Lead, Bethesda Softworks, "The game offers a deep narrative packed with action, adventure and first-person combat rendered in stunning detail with id Software’s id Tech 5 engine". But now more about Doom 4, now called just "Doom". The game has been in development for 6 years now, facing numerous changes and some hindrances regarding the art style and spirit that the game should evoke. Pete Hines, then Bethesda marketing boss mentioned that the game "did not exhibit the quality and excitement that id and Bethesda intend to deliver and that Doom fans worldwide expect, As a result, id refocused its efforts on a new version of Doom 4 that promises to meet the very high expectations everyone has for this game and this franchise. When we're ready to talk about the Doom 4 id is making, we will let folks know."

A lot of information is still hidden behind the veil of secrecy, there is no approximate Beta release date either. The FAQ link is listed below. The 18+ requirements indicates guts splattered on the wall and that true bloody grimy feel that doom should deliver. Beta codes will come enclosed with your boxed copy of Wolfenstein: TNO, you will be able to redeem the code, although the beta beings later on a yet-to-be announced date. Date will be announced on the provided email.
