Welcome to the SECOND edition of Cluex.org’s Summer Cup series 2013! Before we start off giving the info on the 11th Cluex.org event we’d like to take the opportunity to thank every single team who turned up to play on the 30th of June, we really hope you enjoyed it.

Further more, congratulations are in order for our TDM 2v2 cup winners Belgium m1no and Germany ion!, the runners up Switzerland ziLL and France ACo and finally last but by no means least, Netherlands ScrMz and Scotland astz! More informations about completed tournament may be found here.

The second main event of the summer, taking place on the 28th of July is our 1v1 DM cup, yet again featuring some familiar faces including members of our aforementioned top three 2v2 TDM teams such as France ACo, Scotland astz and Belgium m1no, along with a warm welcome back to France GoHLinK, France skAven, France zelvz and Spain ViRtU. Worth to mention is, that current tournament is divided into 2 parts: qualifications and main-event. During our first qualification (14.07) 8 best players will be given the invitation to the main-event!

Number two of the FACEIT Sunday Summer Cup is going live tomorrow afternoon!

The FACEIT Summer Season will be played each Sunday for the coming month, where 128 players can join and play for $125, as well as points to qualify them for the Finale.

You can already sign-up for the tournament at this moment. Check-ins will open at 07:00 CDT, with the cup starting at 08:00 CDT.

This Sunday (7 July) will be the first Sunday Summer Season cup. It will be brought to you by United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and Mexico Bruno "ins" Pereira on United Kingdom FACEIT TV. The stream will go live at 08:30 CDT.


Last week we had a different final than we have come to use in the North America Sunday Cups. ZeRo4 managed to beat rapha to head into the final, where he met DaHanG. The latter managed to win in the end though. You can sign up for the Sunday Summer Cup #2 already, which will start at 13:00 CDT.

Unfortunately we or our third party service provider could not fix the issues in time. We have decided to cancel the cup. We apologies to the players and spectators we have dedicated their day to playing and watching FACEIT. We will be back next week with something special to make up for it. Again, we are truly sorry.

This Saturday the FACEIT CTF Level 6 Draft Cup will take place, starting at 09:00 CDT. A total of $400 will be on the line.

Teams with an average level of 6 will be able to attend this cup. If you are FACEIT Level 6 yourself, you will be able to join the cup as a solo as well, with the system finding you the best team mates as possible. Simply click "Join as Solo" on the tournament page.

All matches will be played in Best-of-one until the semi finals and grand final, which will be Best-of-three. All the action will be brought to you on United Kingdom FACEIT TV, with commentary by United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and Portugal Bruno "ins" Pereira.


Next to our solo-join system we have also implemented a new team system. In this system you will be able to create a longer lasting team, with your own logos, social media, sponsors and an own FACEIT page. The previous team system will now work as a system for mixes.

United States of AmericaCanadaMexico DuelCraft.Net has switched the Wednesday Night Quake series to a monthly season. Each Month will have three cups where players earn points towards qualifying for the monthly final. The top eight players with the most points will qualify for the monthly final.

The Second July Points Cup will take place on July 10th at 19:10 CDT. Check-ins will start at 18:00 CDT.

Popusa 3D is a Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (JA) trickjumping cinematic spectacular created by movie mastah Russia Ent. Features Russia Ent, France Alpha, Poland Gelad, Chile Leonardo, and myself.

This is a 3D video, utilizing the magic of side-by-side stereopair. To watch in 3D you need a 3D video player (for example, Stereoscopic Player) and a 3D device (for example, anaglyph glasses). Included is a 2D version as well. Enjoy the movie!

JA is based on the Q3 engine, strafe jumps and rockets included. Toss in some more weapons, force powers, and lightsabers: you've got JA! Physics and trickjumping techniques are bit different, but you are smart people and should be able to follow along.

"The July 2013 Standard arena rotation is now online. On the first Monday of each month, we will be cycling the Standard arena pool. Rather than only having access to the same standard arenas day in and day out, each month we will now feature 25 arenas selected as playable for Standard-level matches.

Newly released arenas will remain exclusive for at least three months, but every other arena is eligible to be included in the cycle."

Every day FACEIT plays host to several online tournaments in Quake Live. To give you an overview of all happenings, we have put together a schedule with all Quake Live tournaments we run in a week.

From Monday to Friday we have our daily FACEIT Points Cups for several duel levels, as well as for Clan Arena 2 versus 2. On Saturday we have three cups, limited to Premium users with higher point prizes. These points can be exchanged for prizes, such as Razer gear, in the FACEIT Shop.

This weekend we also have two cash event. On Saturday we have the FACEIT CTF Draft Cup with $400 prize. On Sunday our Summer Season will continue with its second installment.


We have also introduced our new team system, where teams can create their own team pages and can invite members without them having to be online. The original team system is still intact, but operates as a party now. Finally, you are also able to join cups alone, with the system looking for others who are also joined solo and teaming you up. Give it a try!
