The time has come to get back into some serious pro style maps again, so without further ado we bring you Furious Heights. This will be the first map that we have hosted which was designed and built by the QuakeLive Team. It is also one of the most popular maps in the duel community, having been used on the pro circuit for QuakeCon 2010 and IEM5.

This event starts at 20:00 CDT, with check-in beginning at 19:00 CDT. We will not be increasing the brackets anymore due to players being in school and/or working in the morning. The wait-listed players will be able to check in 15 min prior to closing.

I would prefer to see all matches played on private servers with passwords in order to not have any disruptions! Hope to see you all sign up!

The FACEIT Quake Live Sunday Cup #3 is kicking off at 08:00 CDT again, with check-ins opening at 07:00 CDT. You can sign-up for the cup here.

The rules and settings for the Sunday Cup will be the same as last cup. The winner will take $100, while the second placed player will get $25. This Sunday's Cup will again be casted by United Kingdom Xavier "Zoot" Dhorne, who will be joined United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia, who you might know from his Quake Duel Theory videos.


Next to that we have a small surprise for you, as the design team have worked very hard on a highlights video of the FACEIT Quake Live Sunday Cup #1. Be sure to check those out!

Czech Republic Clan Rebels (aka dEus) from Czech Republic are going to hold a Quake Live TDM 4v4 tournament at 11:00 CDT, 13 October 2012 (Saturday). The 12th will be the last day to register. Between 10:00 CDT and 10:50 CDT on the 13th, participants should check in on IRC at mIRC #rbls.cz. Rebels have already ran a couple smaller 2v2 TDM tourneys, and now it's time to make a big one!

We have had many requests to host House of Decay, one of the more popular duel maps in QuakeLive it has some serious fast paced action due to the modified teleporters that were added to it. This is a smaller map but ranked as Intermediate. It was originally released with the Q3 Dreamcast Edition in October of 2000.

Ladies and gentlemen, it has been over a decade since the release of Return to Castle Wolfenstein. The game that has inspired us all, the game that spawned Enemy Territory. The time has come to return one last time and fight for glory.

With this cup we want to give the game the celebration it deserves. The aim is to get the old schoolers back for a final blast and show the new kids what a team based game truly is about. Add to that it will be one of the last chances to get your name written in the books of RTCW history!

It is with great proud and honor that we are able to tell you that it is none other than the legendary shoutcaster WarWitch himself that will be taking the stage once more to tell you who killed who and which team is taking home the win.


This cup is open to both North American and European teams. A number of teams have already formed, signed up, or expressed interest in playing. A solution to server location is being worked out to make it best for both European and North American teams.

This (Friday) evening at 14:00 CDT FACEIT will run a test cup to make sure the recent changes we have made are implemented properly and won't cause any problems.

We would like to invite everyone to come and join us to play in the test cup. For the lucky winner, we will distribute $12 which you can use either on the platform, or simply transfer to your bank account.

The rules and such will be the same as last cup. There won't be any streams for the test cups, so to enjoy the entertainment you will have to join the cup. You can sign-up. Make sure you don't miss the check-in, which starts at 13:00 CDT.

A video showing a team defrag run by Germany shio, Sweden kiddy and Hungary mccormic. Team defrag isn't very popular and there are only a few servers but it's amazing to watch never the less.
