We have Quake 2 Edge League playoffs to warm up for European Duel League Playoffs that are starting next week.

Additionally, the Russian Q2 LAN 2012 is starting in St. Petersburg this Sunday. There will be some of the best Russian Q2 players playing in Duel Tournament, with GTV and Live Streams featuring commentary. Everyone is invited (more info @

So this is it. 28 teams have fought in four one night cups to get one of the top eight placements in the rankings. Today, those top eight teams in each division will fight it out in an epic all-day double elimination final cup with a best of five grand final!

Our CA Spring season is half way and it is still

faces of meth who is taking the cake. Currently their victory in the first cup and three top3 places is enough, but with 4 more cups to go... things could radically change.

VOLTAGE GAMING has closed the gap till 15 points, so winning the next cup will make them the new number 1.

Besides this we shouldn't forget

Kill Revenge Survive and

f1st3d who are both at 440 points. A gap which still can be tightened during the following cups.

Our next CA Cup is planned for upcoming Sunday 29th April @ 20:00CEST. Everything is still possible and there for sure will be some very thrilling matches! Everyone is still able to sign up, so if you just want to have some CA fun, do not hesitate to sign up ;-)

Cypher has just confirmed that he doesn't play for Serious Gaming any more. Looks like this multigaming have some problems - if you will try to visit their official site you will see nothing there. In fact, Alexey left the team because Serious Gaming managment broke contract conditions. Information about world champion's new team coming soon...

playQUAKELIVE NA Duel Series (40 comments)

The Cyber Sports Network is proud to announce the 2nd playGAMES Cup Series for QuakeLive. Along with playQUAKELIVE for North American Duel players, Series II will feature CTF for our friends in Europe.

Each Series will consist of 4 single elimination bracket tournaments in which points are awarded to all participants. These points are automatically tracked on the CSN site using our built in points system. The more active that players are and their ability to win matches will result in more points. Each series of four 4 Cups will end with a ‘Finals Cup’, where the top players and teams will compete for larger cash prizing. Once the series has been completed, the points will be reset and another series will begin.

The first playQUAKELIVE Cup Series II Points Cup for both EU CTF and NA Duel will be held Sunday, April 29th. The winning players of each NA playQUAKELIVE Points Cup will take home $40. European playQUAKELIVE CTF Teams will be competing for Points only for all Points Cups. At least $650 in cash will be on the line for the finals.
