This cup is designed for amateur players who want to improve their game. There will be two amateur cups per week. One cup will be for players to compete for points, this can allow them to qualify for the tournament at the end of the month (separate to the Open Duel Cup Invitational). The second weekly amateur cup will also be played for points although the 1st place contender will win an hour of coaching with one of our resident pro's (as seen in this news). The monthly play-offs will also have prizes for 1st and 2nd.

Zoot: The last game you played was vs p0ni for the 3rd place finish. Unfortunately my stream
was unable to follow you here. How did this matchup go for you?

kRoNic: Versus p0ni it went really well! I think p0ni was a little less focused though, I think he was really unhappy about his loss vs Amai. I won Toxicity quite easily vs him, I had all the armours in a loop with 10-0 up in 3mins and he called gg. On Aerowalk it was really close until the last few minutes, I won by 2-3 frags in the end I think!

Zoot: Now that we've covered your games, I was hoping we could get your opinion on the
new cup that JeeSports is launching. JeeSports will be hosting Amateur cups (as well as
the open cups) where players will be able to compete for professional coaching. Do
you think this is a good way to push the community forward?

kRoNic: Well the more cups the better, and I really like the idea of Amateur cups so newer players can
play some competitions! so yeah I think it's a really good idea.

The 2v2 cups will alternate between Team Deathmatch and Clan Arena. If much interest is shown then it is possible that 4v4 TDM and CTF will be integrated in to the system.
