Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.
WinFakt interviews spart1e (9 comments)
Posted by gribouts @ 15:53 CDT, 15 August 2011 - iMsg
Given his recent great performance at QuakeCon 2011, WinFakt wanted to take some time with Sweden Sebastian "Spart1e" Siira for an interview. He gives some insight about how the tournament was from a player's point of view, discusses about his performance in duel and TDM, as well as a bit about his future in online gaming.

Here is an excerpt:
Before we talk some more about your performance in TDM, I'd like us to go back to this match versus CZM. Did you expect him to be such in a good shape for this event ?
No, I really did not. It was a tough tournament. I think some players really underperformed, and few played better than expected. I didn´t see rest of czms games. But against me he made some nice moves, which worked several times because I made really bad mistakes over and over again.

Valve announces CS:GO (231 comments)

Valve is working on the latest iteration of Counter-Strike!

Over the weekend many CS:Source players were invited to the Valve headquarters. Apparently the new CS: Global Operations will replace CS:S's spot!

The gameplay will be closer to CS:S than anything. Some maps the testers have seen include well known dust, aztec, inferno, nuke and train.

Update: Valve officially announced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

TDM Summer cup IV (40 comments)

What a shitty summer this year! Fortunately, ESL comes in to save your day with the TDM 4v4 Summer cup IV which will offer you some more TDM action on Wednesday 10th at 13:00 CDT!

After some experiments in the last cup we will, for now, stick to the map pool that resulted from the poll we started two weeks ago: Grim Dungeons, Dreadful Place, Purgatory, Hidden Fortress and Deep Inside (bo3, pick pick).

The only little change for this volume will be that teams got sorted into divisions by skill as always, but then the seedings and the resulting cup tree will be random as we do not want the newcomer teams to be scared of TDM by having to play the top seeds in their division every time.

Todd Hollenshead: I love the game (109 comments)
Posted by Kapiter @ 19:54 CDT, 9 August 2011 - iMsg
In an interview given to VG247, answering about Carmack's QuakeCon keynote mentioning that Quakelive isn't the expected success, Todd Hollenshead is implicitly saying that new things should happen soon to Quakelive:
"The thing for us with Quake Live is that there’s one specific thing that can be isolated here. The in-game advertising model hasn’t delivered as promised. And I don’t think that’s specific to Quake Live. [...] We changed up stuff with the subscription model, we added ads on the website, we have video advertising – just things like that to bolster up what we’ve lost. So I still think the jury hasn’t come in and given the verdict yet. As long as I’ve got an opportunity to try and do something with Quake Live – because I love the game – [I'll do it]. The game is an entertainment success, so now we have to figure out how to make the business model work."

Will those things be bad or good for our game ? Are they new in-game features or heavier marketing support or something else ? What do you think and what do you expect from Todd to revivify QL and attract new players ?
