Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.
ClanBase CTF all-star match (129 comments)
Posted by PerpetualWar @ 05:33 CDT, 17 May 2010 - iMsg
Scheduled: 13:00 CDT, 16 May 2010 to 15:00 CDT, 16 May 2010
Schedule: Passed

Update: Match is over and teams and results are published with demos and vods released as well, so make sure to watch this awesome game !

Clanbase CTF NationsCup has ended with the final rankings:
1. cup_gold France France
2. cup_silver Germany Germany
3. cup_bronze Netherlands Netherlands
4. Finland Finland

Since the cup went smooth and with a lot of interest from the community, we were thinking about finishing this awesome season with an all-star match. The idea is to present best nations from this season (as you can see above), with their first teams (where it was possible) and to let all of you guys vote for 2 players from each nation. That would give us 8 players to be chosen ones for this match. After that two captains are selected between players ( with admin help if needed) and they pick-up rest of the 6 players from the list. That should give us best of the best from this NC CTF cup.

CTF All-star match is scheduled for 14:00 CDT, 16 May 2010 and voting period is closing 14:00 CDT, 9 May 2010. Coverage will be done by holysh1t.tv as usual. For nominated players see the link below.

Dan to attend QCON as daking for AUS/NZ? (17 comments)
Posted by M05 @ 05:04 CDT, 16 May 2010 - iMsg
Australia Daniel "dandaking" De sousa has taken out the May 16th ArchaicMSI Qualifier in true champion style, flawlessly. This was Dan's first competition for Quake Live and unfortunately due to the nature of 'qualifying' he was unable to participate against his rival Oceanic competition Zealor, Ventz or Zenaku. Dan will accompany Australia and New Zealands best in the ArchaicMSI Draft Tournament for a chance to win a trip to Quakecon 2010 in August.

cup_gold 1st. Australia Daniel "dandaking" De sousa
cup_silver 2nd. New Zealand Nick "nomey" Burfield
3rd/4th. Australia John Winston "Pathe" Hoddinott / Australia Guy "HANZ" Hampton

Big thanks to Wookie and Reloaded LAN who have donated prizes towards the ArchaicMSI Draft runner up and ArchaicMSI Draft third place finalists, as well as our next divisional duel comp and a bit of cash towards our next overseas trip.

ESWC 2010 Finals: 3 more invitations (103 comments)
Posted by xou @ 19:32 CDT, 14 May 2010 - iMsg
The Organizing Committee for the ESWC 2010 Finals decided to grant exceptional autoberths for players and teams left without a qualifier in their countries. This should compensate for the lack of partners in some countries during the resconstruction of the qualifying circuits. For now, the Quakelive tournament is set for 16 players including 3 exceptional autoberths. This leaves 3 slots for the following players who recently attended LAN events (list isn't exhaustive): DaHanG, noctis, stermy, Jibo, chance, Griffin, Vo0, k1llsen, calipt, draven or spammah.

The deadline to send the applications is fixed to the 28th of May. The players will be selected according to their "achievements, motivation and capacity to attend" the event. The list of selected ones will be announced on May 31th.
"Invited participants will only have to pay their travel to Paris. ESWC will provide complimentary accommodation (bed and breakfast) from June 30th (arrival) to July 5th (departure). All invited players and teams will have to set their journey and secure their travel before June 10th."

QuakeLive TV turns 1! (26 comments)
Posted by QuakeLiveTV @ 14:52 CDT, 13 May 2010 - iMsg
On May 13th, 2009, QuakeLive TV was born. Today, we stand with half a million unique hits and almost 4 million page views under our belt - and boy, has it been one hell of a ride!

From King of the Hill to QuakeCon, we've enjoyed every aspect of QuakeLive coverage.

Tonight, in a special edition of the QuadCast @ 10:30 EDT, the QLTV staff will get on the mic and talk about the 1st year: ups, downs, and everything in between!

Click here for the highlights of QuakeLive TV's first year

Obligatory excerpt:
We had attended QuakeCon 2008 to broadcast ET:QW matches and had witnessed the QuakeLive hype first hand. We knew that ET:QW was on its last legs and were keen to find our next eSports passion, so starting QLTV was really a no-brainer.

Scheduled: 13:00 CDT, 11 May 2010 to 16:00 CDT, 13 May 2010
Schedule: Passed

Update: Cup ended with the following standings:

1. Belgium SeriousBurnedd
2. Russia AgentJkezooR
3./4. Russia Nitrino / Lithuania Guard

There were few no-shows in the cup, especially disappointing was Germany k1llsen who dropped in the quarterfinals, and who was one of the main contenders for the 1st place.
Anyway cup went very good and ESH admins expecting even more players next time which will be very soon (in a week or so).

After few (more or less) successful ONW cups for Quake Live, ESH admins decided to introduce some sponsored cups with money prizes, this time supported by Western Digital.

Next 3 weeks will all be featuring one cup per week, with Tuesday and Thursday as cup-running days. First we start with Duel cup and prize of 50 Euro for first place, then following with 2v2 cup and prize of 100 Euro and third week will feature Duel/2v2 depending on success of each game type.

QL Duel Western Digital Challenge is already announced, and registrations for the event accepted. QL 2v2 Western Digital Challenge registrations will be open in following days.
