Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Quake America Duel Cup #3: Sign Up! (4 comments)
Posted by Amp @ 16:30 CST, 10 February 2010 - iMsg
Sign-ups are now open for Quake America Weekly Duel Cup #2, scheduled to start Saturday, February 13th at 19:00 CDT!

Updates will be posted pending any rule or schedule changes.

Also, remember that this is the Sign-Up phase. On the day of the tournament there will be a Check-In phase where players will verify they are present. If you miss either the Sign-Up or the Check-In, you will not be put into the bracket for Duel Cup #3.

So, don't forget to sign up for Duel Cup #3, and good luck to all participants!

Also, the tournament that would have been set to be on February 20th has been postponed. This will serve two purposes. The first will be to allow the Silent Gamers to run their tournament, the second concerns Quake America's new website.

Please be aware, we are still running one more tournament on the 13th through our previous tourney.cc hosts. We are merely taking a very short hiatus after our tournament on the 13th so as to migrate to our new website at quakeamerica.com and to offer some cross promotion to our good friends at Silent Gamers.

l1nkje & Spart1e interviewed (18 comments)
Posted by roychez @ 14:00 CST, 10 February 2010 - iMsg
In the light of the ESL Extreme Masters, Fnatic.com has interviewed both France Pierre-Emeric "l1nkje" Portier and Sweden Sebastian "Spart1e" Siira. The interviews cross topics such as the Extreme Masters European Championship, the FnaticMSI team and more.
Seeing how you performed now, are there any specific areas in your game play that you will focus on improving in the future?
France l1nkje: Yeah of course. I said on fragster.de that I wanted to focus onto duelling in 2010, and that’s what I’ll do. Since I’m not a dueller, i kind of need to “restart” my game, so yeah, I’ll improve everything. I need a fresh start, a start over. Maybe I’ll have to talk with my mates and ask them what I do so wrong :)

Many people say that on any given day you could win a tournament, however at this event you were out in the group stage, what went wrong?
Sweden Spart1e: Like I mentioned earlier. Lack of sleep/concentration and a(not just one) mistake of me. I guess that it was quite the same for me as av3k when he played calipt. I felt I was in such a good form, that I underestimated my opponents. From now on I am gonna play 100% in every game:P.
Besides the interviews, the article also contains a write-up on the ESL Extreme Masters European Championship Finals. Enjoy them all here!
Drama in the CPM-community (365 comments)
Posted by blaze @ 08:45 CST, 10 February 2010 - iMsg
About a month after the launch of #cpmduel at quakenet they arranged their first duel tournament this weekend.

The tournament itself went on very smoothly where almost everyone involved were happy with it. The ones who weren't happy about it was Poland buxter who played in the winner bracket-final game versus Lithuania eThaD. eThaD beat him in two straight maps and threw him into the loser brackets where he got knocked out.

eThad at Dreamhack Winter 2008

A few hours after the cup was finished a demo was published on challenge-tv.com where the poster "QuakeSuperHero" accused eThaD of using wallhack.
While watching the demo he think he caught eThaD at least 29 times where he's had to have wallhack. (note that a CPM duel is 10min).

Some parts of the CPM community has turned against eThaD and some support him in this. The discussion at challenge-tv.com has started where it seems like most people thinks he cheats.

ethad seems to counter this very calmly and not doing anything until buxter wants to have a chat at irc.

Wallhack or not? Discuss!

edit:
Statement by buxter
<buxter> frankly, i don't care about this whole mess, it wasn't me who started it, i gave my opinion with explanation, controversial as it might be but still only my point of view, and nothing more, certainly not proof of QUakeSuperHero thesis.
Actually it's this QuakeSuperHero that's the bad guy, not buxter. Pardons to buxter!

The Europe 4Kings lineup was interviewed after their win against Hungary Zigi. After that the team moved to the Losers Bracket finals and, courtesy of the Europe LowLandLions, were propelled through to the grand final where they will meet with Europe Fnatic.

You lost against LowLandLions. Could have you predicted that?

Slovakia jocko: No, since no jocko, no win.

Are you confident enough?

Germany dk: of coz, I always think we are going to win… of coz sometimes happens the opposite ? but we are always confident. All are cooking with the same water.

Once again, we asked the NA QuakeLive community if they wanted a TDM 2v2 Season 2, and the response was solid. I want to thank all the teams who signed up. * At least 1 match from each level will be casted every Monday by QL.TV or GameFire.
* Private servers will be made available for competing teams to scrim/practice and play their matches.
* Any questions are to be directed to the head admin sirdark at mIRC irc.gamesurge.net #quakenight.

Head to quakenight.com to view the Week 1 matches. Good luck to all teams and as always, play, record demos, ggs, and have fun.
