Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.
Doom 2: 1996 - Ronbob vs Sslasher (114 comments)
Posted by Streetrunner @ 08:19 CST, 11 November 2009 - iMsg
In presenting the history of Deathmatch as well as Id Software's release of Doom Classic on the iPhone, the AGP is proud to present Doom 2 in the AGP Classics Match of the Week!

This tournament took place in 1996 and is called DMcon1. They had 2 tournaments at this LAN, one for Map1, and one for map Dwango5. Map1 was played much slower and more protective than Dwango5, as you will see. Also, watch the special use of the BFG; there was a special 'hidden' ability it possessed that was utilized.

This is the semi-final of the Dwango5 tourney. Ronbob (pov) vs Sslasher (not to be confused with Slasher (Rod Breslau).

We also posted the Final of the Map1 tournament, where Sslasher plays Galiu.

Posted by bates @ 04:07 CST, 11 November 2009 - iMsg
Yesterday there was a little Quake Live Update going on.
Sync Error mentioned that these changes do not reflect the bulk of what id is been working on lately. It was important to release a fix to a recently discovered game exploit, and work progresses in other areas for an upcoming update.

Here are the Updates which where made:
* Fixed demo playback for demos with long file names.
* Fixed the accuracy menu to update properly in Clan Arena.
* Fixed the players-left-alive count to update properly in Clan Arena when an alive player disconnects.
* Fixed banned players' profile pages to once again report the status of their suspension.
* Fixed issues that had arose with the Match tool-tips.
* Changed 'cg_gibs 0' to now entirely disable the death spark effects.
* Changed Cobalt Station - qzdm16's max player limit to 8 players in CTF mode.

Shub_Nigga turns out to be Yuka (354 comments)
Posted by LoCK @ 14:32 CST, 9 November 2009 - iMsg
Apparently the recent comeback of the Q2-legend Shub_Nigga was too good to be true as it turned out to be the known cheater Yuka.

Loosely translated from the Swedish site Rakaka.se:
"Shub_nigga was a fake

A few days ago Rakaka.se reported that the Q2-legend Shub_Nigga had come back to the spotlight and Quake Live. Shub had joined pstarz where, amongst others, Quake star Cooller playes TDM. The team also won their first match against top seeded LLL.

The truth has come to light about "Shub_Nigga".
Alot of people were saying on both the comment section and IRC that this probably was a fake. One thing that stood out was that Shub didn't know any Swedish, although he is Norwegian. These accusations have now shown their selves to be true.

Shub_Nigga was really another player called Yuka, who have been caught cheating in the past.
Apparently it was a known cheater who has previously played in k1ck (where some Swedes also play) by the name Yuka who had started calling himself Shub. This worked so well that he managed to trick the whole pstarz clan. ESL havn't had a clue about this since pstarz still remain the victor over LLL in the ESM QL TDM.

id Softwares Community Manager, SyncError, caught the impostor.
After being asked by some known Quake profiles SyncError chose to check this Shub_nigga via IP tracking, and it turned out to be the already banned Yuka."

When I asked SyncError on IRC about his method on finding out it was actually Yuka playing he said:
"Several players (around a dozen) had reported shub_nigga in the past few days. Claims that he neither knew his native tongue and that his play style was different.
They believed him to be another player who was already actively playing on another team. I looked into the claims and after following a few trails from the account information found that yuka had obtained a new ip address and registered the account 'shub_nigga' on Nov 2nd.
I then spoke with yuka on irc and he confirmed that he was playing under the alias.
The account is currently banned."

Quakelive tools updated (57 comments)
Posted by xou @ 18:44 CST, 3 November 2009 - iMsg
Those who use the alternative servers browsers or the demo player for Quakelive have noticed that these useful tools were not working anymore after the last update released by id Software. Today most of them have been updated and the new versions are now functional again!

The alternative servers browsers are scripts which use the Greasemonkey Firefox add-on. In order to get the new versions working without a flaw, it's recommenced to uninstall the previous versions of these scripts. The demo player itself is an add-on and also requires to get the last version uninstalled.
