Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

GGL Sued by Game Hosting (29 comments)
Posted by TosspoT @ 05:32 CDT, 2 October 2009 - iMsg
Crossfire has broken the story of the latest gaming company to be owed significant money from another eSports organization, however this time someone has taken action!

Swedish based Game Server provider Game-Hosting have today completed the formalities on the first stage of taking GGL through court to procure some $40,000 owed to the company in unpaid bills. Game Hosting are owed the money following their hosting agreement with GGL that saw the company hosting the ClanBase.com website between January 06 and April 2008.

Eirik Pedersen of Game Hosting states:
We have finished legal proceedings against GGL and we won. GGL lost in Swedish courts and GGL is judged to pay us what they owe. Since GGL is a US company the Swedish ruling must now be transferred to US courts and enforced there. GGL has owed us money for over 1 year now and counting.

The Dignitas Quake player United Kingdom "HELL", who had one of the most original nickname ever, is no more. The welsh man had enough of his old nick and will now be known as Aaron-Anton "Vizari" Jones.

Also he decided to give his website some more content with a new video tutorial each week, starting next week. A download section should appear very soon with cfg and HUD files, demos and more.

The servers were down last night European time for the weekly update. Most notable are the locked cl_yawspeed and cl_pitchspeed for disabling "ninja scripts", the step code changes and the new speedometer command. The full changelog can be found below:

The QUAKE Live Updated Update from September 30th

"We have applied a small update to correct an issue discovered with last night's update. This new update should further address the name change exploit.

In addition to this important fix is included a small client-side option, for those who really like to customize their personal game environment, that allows you to set the length of time weapon impact marks are drawn in the environment. Players who currently have marks enabled (cg_marks 1), can now shorten the length of time impact marks are drawn using cg_impactMarkTime. This value currently defaults to '10000', or 10 secs."

Today the Association of Gaming Professionals, the first ever international players association in E-Sports and in Quake Live, has launched.

The AGP will unite the players to expand and sustain the sport themselves through player legislation, international and regional rankings, and tournament sponsoring and sanctioning.
The AGP is the next step in establishing Quake Live and first person shooters as a true professional sport.” said Jarod Reisin, President of VIDA. “The potential of a united players association is bigger than anything we have seen before in professional gaming. It’s proving that progress is happening and that a self sustaining sport is right here in front of us, going nowhere but up.
The AGP will be sponsoring 24 online tournaments in 2009 in Duel, CTF, and CA.
