The 17 player panel have voted, and I am happy to now report on the results. Before we begin, I would like to say thank you to all the players, admins, casters, and everyone else who was involved in the CPMA community in the past six months.

We're hoping that in 2017 the game continues to grow in bounds and leaps as we search for our elusive 18th player. The new year will be starting the King Of 22 King of the Hill events on Saturday January 7, 2017, and we hope to see anywhere between 15-30 of you there. If we hit 50

dr0 will bring his girls backs.

Event: cpmduel

This is a new King Of the Hill tournament that will be hosted by

dr0_vision for Challenge Promode Arena. This is going to be the first round of many and we will start with the most known and (in)famous map in the Quake community: cpm22.

This event will take place on Saturday January 7, 2017 and will be split up into two (2) events: The

European event will be begin at 11:00 CDT and the

North American event will be begin at 16:00 CDT.

We're hoping to kick off this new year with a bang and we'll start that by finding out who is the King of 22. Following that, the series will continue as we run through the majority of the common tournament map pool and will include maps such as cpm3a, cpm15, cpm24, pukkat2, and many more.

Japs is a new Japanese CTF/Duel movie, made by

Agekara.

I started this project in 2012. At first, I was going to finish it in at least a year, but it eventually took longer because of my lazyness. For this movie, I integrated new features such as Q3MME camera into WolfcamQL and I would like to show it in this movie.

I hope the Japanese quake scene will thrive in upcoming Quake Champions.

The Quake-o-Holics LAN, better known as simply "QHLAN", was for long an institution in the QuakeWorld scene. The LAN was being hosted annually between the years of 2000 - 2011 and five years after the last event, the LAN is set to make a comeback in 2017.

The event will be held during 2-5 March 2017 at the Fredrika Bremergymnasiet venue (which is a school) in Haninge just outside of Stockholm in Sweden. While the event is a BYOC LAN, some arrangements can be made for players coming from very far away with regards to equipment.

Previously the QHLAN tournaments have been contested mainly for pride and glory, featuring 1on1, 2on2 and 4on4 competitions throughout the weekend. This year, however, it is stepped up a notch as a crowdfunded prize pool is present (currently at ~12,500SEK and counting) as well as high quality casting by

Andeh and

Jehar. Players with flair can look forward to contesting the Warzon trophy which is also making a return.
