-Servers: There are 2 german servers available aswell as a finnish one.

-Regarding ping - games will be played on servers with minimal ms difference(exceptions include both players having over 80ms) - any disputes will be settled by Laskiy/Cyber

-If your opponent hasnt showed up by 15min - default win - no exceptions.

-All players must have recorded demos of all games. Demos MUST be submitted per request.

-A minimum of 16 players need to be registered for the tournament to take place. Otherwise it will be postponed.

Any violation of the rules or other shitty behaviour can result in disqualification.

- All players must log into the DuelNoobs Discord channel before the tournament commences and remain until all your games are completed.

- DNF will be providing servers hosted in Europe, the password will be announced in the Discord channel before the tournament starts. If you set up a password protected server to play on, you must announce the password in the channel before your game starts.

There are few things new players should make sure to remember when applying for House of Quake:
1. All players should double check if their SteamID is entered for Quake Live.
2. Clan leaders, after creating clan, must create squad and add players from clan to that particular squad.

Failure to follow any of these instructions will result in your team not being able to join the league.

- All 4 captains after the checkin is closed, must join a voice channel with admin within 15 minutes, to pick his teammates. Failing to do so will result in subbing the chosen captain with another highest rated player

- 5v5 CTF. Depending on the number of teams we either play as one group or split up into two or even more
- Players with the highest rating are captains
- Captains pick teams in order: lowest rated captain picks first upcounting to highest rated captain, then highest->lowest, lowest->highest, highest->lowest, lowest->highest
- bo3 groupstage determines 2 teams that go into bo3 final, or if more groups 2 best teams from group advance to quarter-/semifinals, if there is equal win-/lossratio at final standings in group the team with more flagcaptures moves on.
- 1st place gets a prize

Each map will be playable for a week and you will have the opportunity to record your best run.
The servers are set up specifically for the cup, spectating is disabled in order to prevent route stealing, player models are also turned off. Make sure to filter in server browser with race, lowgrav.
The servers have !CUP! at the end.

Each map can be played in both physics (PQL/VQL), with weapons or strafe only.
That means there are 4 modes:

which brings us to the ranking system:

We will determine a overall winner for each mode across the 5 maps using a point system, similar to Formula 1.

1st Place = 25 Points
2nd Place = 18 Points
3rd Place = 15 Points
4th Place = 12 Points
5th Place = 10 Points
6th Place = 8 Points
7th Place = 6 Points
8th Place = 4 Points
9th Place = 2 Points
10th Place = 1 Point

So a maximum of 100 points for each mode is possible if you manage to get 1st place in all 4 maps, excluding the tie breaker map.
