Today we have released a small update for QUAKE LIVE. As of today, several of the classically "premium-only" features have been cycled into the realm of standard-content for everyone to enjoy.

In the coming updates we will now be adding new features for our subscribers to enjoy, but we felt that now was a good time to begin making some of our long standing perks available to everyone who plays. In addition to this we've also included a number of small fixes and improvements.

We at Cluex are proud to announce the sign-ups for the tournament we have all been waiting for! A 1-versus-1 deathmatch tournament with the fifth biggest money prize-pool in the history of Unreal Tournament 2004!

The first stage of the tournament will be composed of the group stages, whereby the top two players of each group pass onto a double-elimination bracket for the playoffs. The group stage matches will be played over a period of around two weeks, with the playoffs taking up to a couple of days. Each division's matches will take place on alternate days and times. If you're interested in what you've read so far, please read below for the more intricate details!


We hope that the cup formula has encouraged you to take part in what is, most likely, the last (big) Unreal Tournament event. We look forward to seeing you on the fields of battle!

"The July 2014 Standard arena rotation is now online. On the first Monday of each month, we will be cycling the Standard arena pool. Rather than only having access to the same standard arenas day in and day out, each month we will now feature 26 arenas selected as playable for Standard-level matches.

Newly released arenas will remain exclusive for at least three months, but every other arena is eligible to be included in the cycle."

Event: ESH QL Spring Cup
Esports Heaven Spring Cup 2014 has come to an end. On the next pages you can find match reports of all games that have been played in any of the game modes we ran (TDM, CTF, CA) alongside with VODs that were recorded and final standings.

TDM proved once again to be most popular game mode, with 18 signups, spread across 3 divisions and it had 7 dropouts from the league. All in all, it is considered success even though its evident that TDM numbers are in decline as well.

CTF failed with only 8 signups and 2 dropouts. Under normal circumstances cup would be canceled with this number of teams, but we decided to respect the teams that actually signed up and run the league after all. It was played in Double Round Robin format as playoffs weren't viable at all.

CA had solid 14 signups and only 3 dropouts from the league. It had two divisions and was followed by CA players regularly, so its also considered a success.

ESH will be back for Fall Cup 2014, while we are taking a break at summer. Big thanks to Germany doz3r (TDM admin), Netherlands cenix (CTF admin), Italy DePaS (CA admin), United Kingdom nVc (streamer), Sweden funnyb (streamer) , Sapphire (sponsor) and others who made this cup possible. DIANA is a Quake Live movie featuring myself with demos from lates 2013 to all 2014.

Hello everyone! This is my 4th movie featuring myself and its called DIANA (as the goddess of the hunt). i think ive gotten better tho theres still room to improve. Nothing much left to say, just decided to mantain this clean and short. Maybe not the best video out there but I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did making it. :)

We are happy to announce today a change to our subscription service. Effectively immediately, we have permanently lowered the price of Pro subscriptions and are no longer selling Premium subscriptions, bringing us down to one subscription level. We have some additional changes in the pipeline for the coming weeks and months, but wanted to get this first step out as soon as we could. QuakeCon® have announced another eight players for the Intel® QUAKE LIVE Duel Masters Invitational, this time featuring three Canadians, three Americans, a Portuguese and Frenchman.

From Europe we will see Portugal ins and France link1n. While for ins it will be his first trip to QuakeCon, l1nkin has made the journey several times. While he has achieved no top placement in duel, he has various high rankings in the team disciplines.

From North America we will also see Canada sparks, Canada id_, Canada griffin, United States of America carnage, United States of America cl0ck and United States of America cha0ticz! The latter has two fifth places at QuakeCon, in Quake 3, while griffin even managed to grab a third place in 2008.

Eight more players have been invited to QuakeCon® 2014's Intel® QUAKE LIVE Duel Masters Invitational, with more European and American players joining the list!

United States of America Chance, United States of America dkt, United States of America whaz and United States of America ZorakWar will all be representing the USA at QuakeCon this year, joining an already strong list of Americans attending this year. Last year's edition saw strong placements of both chance and dkt, who came 5-6th and 7-8th respectably, while the year before both ended up on a 5-8th place.

The Europeans this year coming over are the Benelux duo Belgium dem0n and Netherlands Silencep, Frenchman France winz and Sweden's Sweden Spart1e. Of the quartet, Spart1e is the only one who previously took part in a duel tournament at QuakeCon. His highlight was a second place in 2009 and fourth in 2010.

Let me introduce to you the new movie about recently completed HANGTIME2 CUP - first ever DeFRaG competition with a prize fund ($380).

Hangtime2 is one of the hardest strafe maps lately and that is why only hardcore strafers participated. This movie consists of best records on both VQ3 and CPM physics and shows the final standings. I hope you enjoy this movie.

QuakeCon® 2014 is set to be a great spectacle, with FACEIT providing live coverage and United Kingdom ddk and United Kingdom Zoot on the mic to provide commentary. But of course most of the show will come from the players!

The Intel® QUAKE LIVE Duel Masters Invitational will feature a stunning $20,000 in prizes and the player line-up is shaping up to be nothing but impressive. The first eight invited players are United States of America DaHanG, United States of America ZeRo4 and United States of America Rapha, representing the United States, while from all the way from the South we have the Argentina Doomsd4y, representing Argentina.

Europe will send a strong delegation this year as well, with the first names to be invited being Russia evil, Sweden tox, as well as France strenx, who is coming out of retirement specially for QuakeCon, and recent FACEIT Spring Champion and DreamHack victor, Belarus Cypher.


The line-up features several QuakeCon champions, with tox taking two duel titles, while ZeRo4, Cypher and rapha all have three duel trophies. This totals to eleven golden medals, excluding all of the team achievements!

Last year saw a European versus American final, in evil versus Rapha. In the end, the American bagged the win after a tense final. Who will take it all the way this year? Will the Europeans prove the strongest, or will the Americans defend their crown?
