the way I understood it vo0 was at fiends last night. but either way the mic definitely needs adjustment. and hitsu i think we have the same day-night cycle you always seem to be online when i am o.0
Yeah, was at FienD's house last night commentating the NA Frag Open tournament. Today I was streaming from home but QLPrism keeps crashing for some reason. Not sure what was going on.
Clown is an old school player (met him in 04 or 05 on the PK tour) who lives around Dallas area as well. CA is very different from duel and I wouldn't be surprised to see some random team winning the tournament.
its always a safe rapha cypher dahang final until a wild spart1e, k1llsen or vo0 appears and is super effective. i play quake long enough to know that anything can happen.
i saw dahang smoking rapha 3-0 yesterday. rapha forfeited on ztn after 5 minutes with 7-0 on the score. he is my realistic prediction but I want to believe!
evil, k1llsen, and strenx are the only euros i'm interested in seeing.
i can wait for dreamhack to see the rest.
going to suck if any of those three can't make it
I'm pretty sure ddk mentioned during yesterday's Faceit cup that Stermy was training for it.
Does anyone have any info on K1llsen? He's one of the few players who I would watch CA for, and he could certainly cause an upset in the duel tournament.
yea h41 is sick in ca. but dont underestimate the american CA teams, they are the ones who are actually practicing hard for this.
as much as i like they players themselves, CA will be abominable to watch. still cool that it makes stermy and possibly tox go attend the duel tourney. im hoping for stermy to play serious, his play-style is so nice for ql
I think Stermy has the kind of character where if he does something he wants to do it well, so if he enters the duel I think he'll take it seriously. And as far as I can remember he was one of the guys who would always put up a strong fight vs Rapha - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG5R0LDCgf8
doesnt mean that his top shape is enough for the current pros. ofc he can win a map against anybody (hes that good), but in a bo3 i dont see him having any chance against DaHang, Rapha or Evil.
if he's legit, with such aim, u wouldnt lose games, u crazy? even if the kid sucked at everything else except lg (which he doesnt), such shaft dmg is priceless in CA
first of all, if you really had to substitute a player from colwn it shouldn't be him at all: in my opinion and my experience from playing vs and with him he's the best all-around, most experienced and most motivated of the bunch, as far as clan arena is involved.
secondly, aim alone won't win your team a 3v3: some maps and positions might benefit from that (asylum tunnel for example) but situational awareness (switches, positioning etc) and teamplay will still prevail.
for example just look at how v1um plays, he might not be the best aimer in the world (actually he's sick, but let's pretend he's not the best aimer for the sake of the argument), yet manages to make his team win rounds thanks to his superior choices and plays
in the same way, between those two you mentioned, h4l's clearly the better overall player: on par aim (have you actually seen his shaft? you've got to be fucking kidding me if you think he's worse) and much more experience, awareness and teamplay.
btw weren't you the aimbotter? if your logic was correct, you shouldn't have ever lost a single game.
Never underestimate voo, he can be pretty shitty when not practicing. But when he does he is a dark horse that can not be counted out. Very unique rocket approaches in close combat that always seems to catch people ofguard. Love it.
dude hes probably the only player that can hit mid-range/long-range directs on a regular basis. his spam is epic. even when hes playing bad (like against dkt on last faceit), hes gonna hit epic rockets. for reference, watch vo0-dkt on ztn (last faceit). vo0 casually hit 3 long-range directs in a row.. guys tha shit
