There are definitely better ways than using an algorithm of a 5th grade math exercise.
the flaw doesn't lie in the system that's used to calculate the actual skill rating number, but rather what data goes into the calculation
- everyone loves PowerPoint presentations, so make sure other players look like one
Some players who don't animate as properly 'warping' are nigh on unhittable.
As for warsaw, I don't think they fixed warp, and QL can't take code from open source projects any more than they can from commercial ones, they have to write everything in house, or license it (via id's legal dept. of doom).
