Yes, I went from 35-40% (60% usage) LG to 45-55%, but the difference might not be that great to you because I played with 60 Hz and unstable 125 FPS.
Depends on the game you're going to be playing, for Quake you obviously won't need a great PC to get stable 250 FPS. You'll still notice the difference even if you don't have >144 FPS.

Totally worth it, not only because you hit more, but the suspension of desbelief becomes higher with higher hz, so you feel more inside the game.

Does that mean when I spawn near RA on Purgatory and some fuck comes out of windows gauntlet's me twice, steals RA back his ass up to lg then finishes me off as I try to strafe towards 50 and through the water towards rail/jump pad. It won't even feel like a game?

Yes it does... it's not even that much about the aim, as it's about the game feel. It's just better for the eyes and more pleasant. :)

And I came from really good 75Hz lcd to 120Hz lcd, so for you it can be even better.

75hz lcd is a farce, its just a 60hz that repeats 1 frame for every 4 real frames.

Some monitors can overclock without frame doubling, eg my 2209WA works at 75Hz, heard reports about P2414H and U2414H doing same, someone even got stable 80Hz on DP connection.
Also there are the korean monitors which usually overclock to 90-115Hz.
All of those are IPS panels so you have good colors, but of course reaction times are as usual, 5-8 ms vs 1-2ms of TN.

While we are at it: Any current experiences with input lag and such? That's the only reason why I didn't upgrade further, since the input lag was so bad on a Samsung 2233rz (120Hz, panel type: TN, 2009 model) compared to my CRT-experience - with it's instant-on-target feeling..

I got 2233rz and also I got samsung t220(I played with it @ 75Hz) and tbh I hit better lg on my t220 and kinda feel it has less input lag than 2233rz... tho I use currently my 2233rz as it feels nicer overall.

I have a old LG w2636d with thru mode enable, CRT like 0ms input lag.

Dont know whats the term they use today, but there are options that similar to the w2363d, have sub 1ms input lag, basically crt like input lag.

I would never play on a non-120Hz monitor for FPS games. You really are handicapping yourself with 60Hz. Just one man's opinion.
